What is your remit?<\/h2>\n<p>My job is to lead the modernisation of Voyages-sncf.com, which has experienced incredible growth since its creation in 2000. We have high quality standards for the site, and we need to be able to welcome many more Internet users than those who are actually connected. Voyages-sncf.com records some 800,000 daily visits and six bookings every second. The site sells one in three SNCF tickets, filling the equivalent of 300 TGVs a day.<\/p>\n<h2>Are you also working on the technical overhaul of Voyages-sncf.com?<\/h2>\n<p>Our aim is to introduce new functionalities and greater interactivity with customers. Through our VSC Laboratory, we have just launched Lea, a virtual sales assistant of sorts, and above all a door-to-door travel assistance tool that covers all modes of transport: train, bus, RER, metro, etc. Operational in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Rennes and Lille, it will eventually be available at the 20 biggest TGV destinations in France.<\/p>\n<h2>Is Voyages-sncf.mobi one of your priorities?<\/h2>\n<p>Absolutely, because we need to go even further in supporting passengers. VSC has introduced a new version of its iPhone application for touch screens. This is an important channel, particularly for last-minute sales. Half of the users of this application book the day before or the day of departure.
