But the German press is already talking about it: <strong>Deutsche Bahn is to become a new member of Star Alliance, a first in the world of rail transport. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/eurostar-integre-skyteam-20240925.html\/\">airline alliances<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/deutsche-bahn-lufthansa-20210308.html\/\"> Deutsche Bahn<\/a> is already a partner of Lufthansa<\/strong> on routes between Germany and Frankfurt airport. But it will now become <strong>the first company outside the aviation sector to become an alliance partner<\/strong> international airlines. Not only would it open up new prospects for air alliances, which could become \"intermodal\" alliances. It would also send out a strong signal about more virtuous and sustainable mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By integrating planes and trains together, the transfer of flights to rail has every chance of being multiplied. It now remains to be seen how the advantages given to members of airline alliances will be applied to the rail segment.
