\"Meet-Work-Stay\": the Postillion Hotels concept perfectly sums up the ultra-business positioning of this Dutch hotel operator. A group distinguished by truly integrated MICE destinations<\/strong> combining accommodation and vast conference centres, as demonstrated by the recent opening of the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre in The Hague.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This new business meeting place, virtually connected to the railway station in the administrative capital of the Netherlands, is being developed in phases. To begin with, a 2,000 m2<\/sup> opened its doors there during the pandemic, before the addition of a 4000 m conference and exhibition centre2<\/sup><\/strong> last May, with a plenary hall for 1,400 people and around thirty meeting rooms. A 190-room hotel will be added to the complex in 2024.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Postillion Hotels occupies a prime position in the Dutch MICE market with its eight establishments, all of which have been awarded the Cl\u00e9 Verte Gold label. Firstly, because each of them is equipped with large meeting areas and because its hotels are designed with business travellers in mind<\/strong>For example, with catering tailored to their needs, from healthy dishes to those served in 15 minutes flat. In all the hotels, mobile professionals can also find business points where they can stop and work for a few hours, while Postillion Hotels has formalised a range of fun breaks to liven up meetings, from 'yoga breaks' to 'haka breaks'.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

But what sets the group apart is its network of conference hotels in major Dutch cities, such as The Hague. This is the case in Utrecht and Amsterdam, with a hotel that has been part of the Conference Center since 2018, giving a MICE complex with 252 rooms, around thirty meeting rooms, 800 m2<\/sup> of exhibition space and a plenary session of 1,000 m2. This is also the case in Rotterdam, where Postillion opened in April. a 168-room hotel to complement the Convention Center integrated into the WTC<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

However, the Dutch hotelier is not the only player to be interested in the market for wide-body hotels in the Netherlands. Maritim Hotels also specialises in large-capacity MICE hotels.<\/strong> such as the Maritim proArte in Berlin, which can accommodate conventions of up to 2,000 people, or its facility directly connected to the Congress Centre Messe in Frankfurt. And this German group will soon be offering a similar facility in Amsterdam, in 2023.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

German group Maritim Hotels has announced that it has signed a contract with Union Investment to develop aEurope's largest integrated conference hotel <\/strong>in the fast-changing district of Amsterdam North. Separated from Central Station by the River Ij, the area has recently seen the arrival of a number of new hotels, including the new lifestyle brand Tribe, owned by the Accor group. Soon it will be the turn of a 579-room Maritim hotel as part of the new Yvie multi-functional complex.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
