{"id":127389,"date":"2022-07-05T10:27:50","date_gmt":"2022-07-05T08:27:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=127389"},"modified":"2022-07-05T16:59:36","modified_gmt":"2022-07-05T14:59:36","slug":"heathrow-express-fast-track","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/heathrow-express-fast-track","title":{"rendered":"Heathrow Express First Class integrates Fast Track airport route"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>London Heathrow airport is making headlines in the UK for its interminable queues, <strong>train service <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/heathrow-express-google-maps-20211014.html\/\">Heathrow Express<\/a><\/strong> now offers a major 'plus' for its users. <strong>Since 1 July, 1st class passengers on the 15-minute service between Paddington Station and the UK hub's five terminals have had access to the \"Fast Track\" security service in all terminals.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/elizabeth-line-super-metro-londres-20220422.html\/\" data-id=\"124075\">Elizabeth Line: London's super-metro to open on 30 June<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>They need to pass through the Fast Track security corridors, <strong>show boarding card and Heathrow Express Business First ticket<\/strong>. Only passengers travelling in this class are permitted. All other accompanying persons must hold their own ticket. <strong>Business First's Fast Track security service is reserved for passengers departing from Heathrow only.<\/strong>. It is therefore not valid on fast track services on arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cher-mais-utile-en-temps-d-engorgement\"><span style=\"color: #a71f31\">Expensive but useful in times of congestion<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>While first class on the Heathrow Express is particularly expensive - \u00a332 or \u20ac36 - the advantage of using Fast Track corridors is a real bonus. Especially as this service, which is also sold as an online supplement, is currently suspended due to recurrent congestion at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heathrow Express nevertheless warns passengers. They are subject to the same security procedures and regulations as other passengers. The Fast Track service reduces waiting times to a minimum. However, there is no guarantee of how long passengers will have to wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to figures provided by Heathrow airport, <strong>90% of passengers experienced a waiting time at security checks of less than 10 minutes<\/strong>. A figure based on May alone. And yet it shows a relative deterioration. In fact, in the first quarter of 2022, this figure was 95.1% for a waiting time of less than 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 4 July, queues just to get into certain terminals stretched for several hundred metres. With waiting times of an hour or more.
