While there has been a noticeable acceleration in the leisure segment, linked to the French people's desire for holidays and the return of international customers, the recovery is still taking place in the following areas <strong>at medium speed for the business segment<\/strong>. Indeed, business travel is far from having returned to pre-crisis levels. The business traffic figures released by the SNCF and French airports confirm this. However, there are a few nuances. \"\u00a0<em>While the volume of rentals at Roissy-CDG remains down, Orly is approaching 2019 levels, driven by an upturn in domestic, leisure and business travel.<\/em>says C\u00e9dric Douls, Europcar's Marketing and Sales Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/reprise-flotte-rse-bard-avis-budget-20211014.html\/\" data-id=\"114737\">Takeover, new services and CSR: interview with Pierre-Olivier Bard (Avis Budget)<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p><p>After the Omicron wave, which halted the upturn in activity, the situation has improved steadily since January. This is despite the war in Ukraine, which has created uncertainty for some companies. \"\u00a0<em>The business market <strong>some recovery since March<\/strong>This trend is set to continue in the coming quarters, with VSEs and SMIs growing proportionately faster than large companies.<\/em>\" says Pascale Roque, the new Managing Director of Hertz France. To what extent will face-to-face meetings become the norm? And what impact will teleworking agreements, signed by around 3,000 companies in 2021, have on locations? \"\u00a0<em>Will 10% or 20% meetings switch to video?<\/em>asks Guirec Grand-Cl\u00e9ment. <em>Even training courses are affected by this phenomenon<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-highlight-box\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-les-salaries-ont-privilegie-l-utilisation-de-leur-vehicule-personnel-durant-la-pandemie\">Employees preferred to use their private vehicles during the pandemic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In March, Expensya and the Association fran\u00e7aise du travel management (AFTM) unveiled the 2021 trends in business expenditure by companies. Based on actual expenditure, this barometer reveals greater use of personal and individual means of transport (car, motorbike, bicycle, electric scooter, etc.) due to the pandemic and the introduction of health and vaccination passes. This has led to a reduction of 18% in spending on car hire (and of -12% for rail and -64% for air in view of the difficulties in travelling internationally). This<strong> greater use of a private vehicle<\/strong> generated a 7% increase in distances travelled, a 41% increase in toll charges and a 24% increase in fuel-related expenses due to the rise in fuel prices. The latter bill will be even higher in 2022.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/enterprise-france-sixt-etats-unis-20230303.html\/\" data-id=\"144087\">Enterprise invests in France, Sixt in the United States<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-highlight-box\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hertz does business with SMEs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Hertz My Business is a new offer from the American car rental company aimed at SMEs and available in 7 European countries, including France. It offers new services and rental solutions by the day, week, month or more.
