The construction of new tracks and the widening of platforms at Luxembourg and Bettembourg stations (the first major stop in the Grand Duchy) are also disrupting traffic. <strong>The 12 km separating the small town in the south of Luxembourg from the capital is effectively closed to trains.<\/strong>. TER trains from Metz, Nancy or Thionville therefore stop at Bettembourg, with a bus transfer to the capital.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trains to resume service on 8 August<\/strong> but will be interrupted again from 29 October to 6 November. Until November, we can expect adapted timetables for both TER and TGV trains, as the work is due to continue until 20 November. <strong>Information is available both on the SNCF website and application and on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfl.lu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">CFL<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As for those who decide to travel to Luxembourg by car, <strong>work on the A3 motorway<\/strong>which is to be upgraded to 2\u00d73 lanes between Lorraine and Luxembourg, are increasing the risk of traffic jams...<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div
