The company, based in Germany, counted <strong>37,000 flight cancellations in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-france-etats-unis-20220203.html\/\">400 US airports<\/a> between 27 May and 15 July<\/strong>. However, this figure includes the Memorial Day and 4 July weekends, which generate very heavy traffic peaks.<\/p>\n<p>AirHelp reveals that while the average number of flight cancellations per airport was 2.6 %, some airports are well above this average. This is particularly true of New York airports. Two of the city's three airports have the worst cancellation rates. The airport of <strong>Washington National (Ronald Reagan)<\/strong> comes in third place with 5.9% of cancelled flights according to AirHelp statistics. <strong>Pittsburgh International Airport<\/strong> is in fourth place with 4.1%, followed by <strong>Boston Logan International<\/strong> with 4% of cancellations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlotte Douglas International <\/strong>and<strong> Philadelphia<\/strong> each recorded 3.8% of cancelled flights. Kennedy International, does not feature in the top 10 airports with the highest cancellation rates<\/strong>. JFK only recorded 3.6% of cancelled flights.
