Its ambition is to become nothing less than <strong>Europe's largest experimental laboratory<\/strong>. Located in Vilvoorde, to the north of the Belgian capital, this campus dedicated to innovation includes a hospitality component in its design, dedicated in particular to welcoming visitors to its conference centre, which includes a digital studio, creative meeting rooms and a 150-seat auditorium, as well as event spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/voco-expansion-venise-melbourne-20220601.html\/\" data-id=\"125957\">Voco: from Venice to Auckland via Mexico<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>The hotel part of Living Tomorrow has been entrusted to the IHG Group brand. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/indigo-wall-street-voco-doha-20220308.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">voco<\/a>which will open a 92-room hotel on the site in autumn 2023. Visit <strong>voco Brussels City North<\/strong> is part of the British hotelier's expansion in Europe, especially as IHG will also continue to develop this brand, as well as Hotel Indigo and Crowne Plaza.<strong> in France, Italy and Spain<\/strong>. Five hotels will soon be added to its network as part of a partnership with Grape Hospitality, an investment platform owned 70% by Eurazeo and 30% by Accor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Until now, Grape Hospitality has concentrated mainly on the French group's brands, which make up a large part of its network of 110 hotels, and has turned to IHG to diversify its portfolio. \"\u00a0<em>With Indigo, voco hotels and Crowne Plaza, all strong brands in their segment, we will be able to develop our expertise. <strong>in catering and MICE <\/strong>and make each hotel a unique place to live<\/em>\" commented Frederic Josenhans, President of Grape Hospitality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ihg-allemagne-turquie-20221025.html\/\" data-id=\"135255\">IHG is thinking bigger in Germany and Turkey<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ihg-hotel-indigo-florence.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"411\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ihg-hotel-indigo-florence.jpg\" alt=\"Restaurant at the future Hotel Indigo Florence, one of the five openings recently announced by IHG.\" class=\"wp-image-132445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ihg-hotel-indigo-florence.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ihg-hotel-indigo-florence-300x176-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><figcaption><em>Restaurant at the future Hotel Indigo Florence.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Five hotels recently acquired by Grape Hospitality will be rebranded under one or other of these names, and will primarily strengthen Hotel Indigo's position in Europe. Three establishments of this contemporary brand are part of this partnership, including<strong> the arrival of Hotel Indigo in Bordeaux<\/strong>. The third, after Paris and Cagnes-sur-Mer, will be located in the lively Chartrons district, with a 100-room hotel expected to open in May 2023. Through Hotel Indigo, IHG is also preparing to enter a key Italian market this year: Florence. Located in the immediate vicinity of Santa Maria Novella station, not far from the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, the future hotel will offer 160 rooms and conference facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-l-europe-du-sud-une-des-priorites-d-ihg\">Southern Europe, one of IHG's priorities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In Spain, this boutique brand is preparing to add a second address in Barcelona, following the one opened in the early 2010s in the central Eixample district. Scheduled to open in April 2024, the 189-room Hotel Indigo Barcelona Gran Via Plaza Espa\u00f1a will be located on Montjuic Hill, close to the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC). With this partnership with Grape Hospitality, <strong>The IHG Group will also strengthen its presence in Madrid <\/strong>with two hotels also expected to open in April 2024. The Spanish capital will then see the appearance of the first voco hotel to open in Spain, the 193-room voco Madrid Centre Retiro, and a second Crowne Plaza, in addition to the one located near the airport. Expected to open early next year, this<strong> urban resort <\/strong>revisits the Palazzo Salviati Cesi Mellini in a contemporary style under the guidance of architect Patricia Urquiola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the original facade and monumental staircase have been restored - as has the facade of the neighbouring church of San Marcello al Corso, a project in which Six Senses was involved - the hotel's interiors play on a contemporary and sustainable design. Daylight, open and airy spaces, plants galore: the place is in tune with the times, in line with Six Senses' eco-responsible policy. Another of the brand's strong points is its wellness dimension, which revisits the ancient thermal baths with a spa on offer,<strong> as in the ancient Roman baths<\/strong>There are three diving pools, a calidarium, a tepidarium and a frigidarium. There's also a hammam, biohacking and meditation rooms, and an open-air yoga terrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This intimate and exclusive pied-\u00e0-terre offers 96 elegant rooms and suites, some with sun terraces. Guests can also enjoy views of Rome from the rooftop bar, in the heart of the city. <strong>a Mediterranean garden atmosphere<\/strong>The gardens are decorated with terracotta pots and aromatic plants. On the ground floor, Six Senses Rome completes its F&amp;B offering with the Bivium restaurant-caf\u00e9-bar, which naturally focuses on Italian cuisine and opens onto an elegant terrace.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/rome-hotels-luxe-assentiment-20230417.html\/\" data-id=\"147077\">Rome: and luxury was (and still is)<\/a><\/p><\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The IHG group has announced the opening of several hotels in Europe, including three Hotel Indigo in Bordeaux, Florence and Barcelona and voco in Madrid and Brussels, the latter within a campus dedicated to innovation.
