With almost 1,200 hotels worldwide, compared with over 8,000 for Marriott and almost 7,000 for Hilton, Hyatt is certainly not the most bulimic hotelier. But it is, <strong>the aura of its top-of-the-range establishments<\/strong> and the presence of its hotels in the world's major cities have ensured its place as a major player in the world of travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hyatt-lindner-hotels-allemagne-20221010.html\/\" data-id=\"133273\">Hyatt: \"y a de la joie de vivre\" with Lindner Hotels<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Having arrived in France in 1992 at Paris CDG airport - after a brief foray in early 1980 near Nice airport - the American group now has <strong>10 hotels in France<\/strong>. Among the latest openings, Hyatt strengthened its offering near the Paris hub of Roissy at the end of 2020 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hyatt-coup-double-paris-cdg-20201001.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a Hyatt Place-Hyatt House combo<\/a>offering business travellers a choice between a contemporary hotel and a long-stay solution for their business trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>France, where the group has already deployed a large part of its brand portfolio with, in Paris, the very business Hyatt Regency Porte Maillot, the result of the completed renovation of the former Concorde Lafayette, and the prestigious Park Hyatt. Other current establishments include the Hyatt Paris Madeleine, the Palais de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e in Nice - a Hyatt Regency - and the three members of its Unbound Collection, namely<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/guibouret-hotel-louvre-interview-20201030.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> the H\u00f4tel du Louvre <\/a>in Paris, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/biarritz-hotel-du-palais-20190830.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">H\u00f4tel du Palais<\/a> in Biarritz and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hotel-martinez-nouvelles-chambres-20170522.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Martinez<\/a> in Cannes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the end of the year, a new brand will be making its debut in France, at <strong>Bordeaux<\/strong> JdV, for Joie de Vivre, the upmarket lifestyle brand, presented by Michel Morauw, Hyatt's vice-president for France, as \"a new brand of luxury hotels\".\u00a0<em>urban hotels rooted in the culture of their neighbourhoods<\/em>\" . This brand, which has been part of Hyatt since its acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality at the end of 2018, will be carried by the First Name hotel, developed by the Alboran Group, which revisits<strong> the former Allianz offices<\/strong>This 147-room contemporary hotel is located in the Meriadeck business district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/firstname-marque-lifestyle-bordeaux-20220607.html\/\" data-id=\"126057\">FirstName: a new lifestyle brand with a \"feel good\" spirit<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>This expansion of the Hyatt group outside Paris and the C\u00f4te d'Azur could continue elsewhere in the provinces, thanks in particular to brands with an intermediate positioning such as Hyatt Place and Hyatt House. \"\u00a0<em>It's a combination that works well in the UK, whether in London, Manchester or Cambridge, with a mix of business travellers, academics and students.<\/em>\" says Michel Morauw. In this context, <strong>Marseille, Lyon and other major cities<\/strong> are being targeted by the American group. While the outlook in Paris seems relatively bleak for another top-of-the-range lifestyle brand such as Thompson, which has just made its European debut in Madrid, the American group is not ruling out the possibility of establishing a presence in the French market. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hyatt-offre-resorts-20210817.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">its resort brand<\/a><strong> Destination by Hyatt<\/strong>. A brand that recently appeared in Sardinia and Ibiza with the 7Pines resorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>France is not the only country on Hyatt's radar. In addition to the arrival of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hyatt-lifestyle-thompson-madrid-20220222.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Thompson in Madrid <\/a>and soon in Vienna, the group has a number of recent or forthcoming openings in Europe. The latest of these is the opening in the last few days, between Marbella and Malaga, of a new member of the Unbound Collection, La Zambra. The fruit of <strong>the rebirth of a hotel popular with the jet set in the 1980s and 1990s<\/strong>The Byblos, this 197-room luxury resort has everything you need for exclusive moments of relaxation, with its spa, four restaurants and numerous nearby golf courses. The resort is also ideal for top-of-the-range corporate events, with four meeting rooms for up to 300 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/unbound-nouvelle-collection-chez-hyatt-20160304.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unbound Collection<\/a> is expecting another prestigious guest next year with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/unbound-collection-scandinavie-20201029.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Grand Hotel Hansa in Helsinki<\/a>At the end of December, London will welcome a new hotel close to the City, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/londres-st-regis-hyatt-20220225.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Hyatt Regency Blackfriars<\/a>with 204 rooms. To complete the picture, another highlight will be the return to London in 2024 of its most prestigious brand, Park Hyatt, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/park-hyatt-londres-2022-20201126.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a long-awaited hotel on the banks of the Thames<\/a> near the American Embassy, in the Nine Elms district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-highlight-box\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-des-resultats-en-hausse-et-des-perspectives-positives\"><strong>Rising earnings and a positive outlook<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Hyatt hotels in France operate as follows<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ete-hotellerie-francaise-mkg-20220823.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> general market trends<\/a> with a marked increase in the number of visitors and a significant rise in average prices. \"\u00a0<em>The year was almost as strong as 2019, at least for our resort hotels<\/em>says Michel Morauw. <em>In Paris, however, the first quarter was still difficult, but since the end of May and the hosting of the Champions League final in Paris, demand has been exceptional, with a summer season that saw the return of customers from the Middle East and the United States.<\/em>\" . In addition to leisure customers, Hyatt's vice-president for France also notes that \".\u00a0<em>good seminar business since the spring, with demand adding to postponements of events<\/em>\" . As for the year ahead, Michel Morauw expects it to be in line with the current trend: \"\u00a0<em>Leaving uncertainties aside, the outlook is positive, with sustained demand from individual business customers and a seminar and conference business whose booking levels for 2023 are identical today to what they were at the same time in 2018 for 2019.<\/em>.
