This means to the United States - in particular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/new-york-perpetuelle-metamorphose-20180704.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>New York<\/strong> <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/metamorphose-business-miami-20170720.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Miami<\/strong> <\/a>- but also Brazil and Argentina<\/em>\" says Pierfrancesco Carino, Vice President International Sales.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>In the coming weeks, however, <strong>we are resuming services to Asia<\/strong>. From 5 November, we will be starting our flights on <strong>Tokyo Haneda in November and December will see the launch of routes to India and the Maldives<\/strong>. We will be flying to New Delhi in India, which has a long history of major traffic.<\/em>\" he adds.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\">\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ita-airways-new-delhi-20220907.html\/\" data-id=\"130359\">ITA Airways heads for New Delhi<\/a><\/p>\r\n<\/aside>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-l-atout-fiumicino\">The Fiumicino advantage<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>All intercontinental flights depart from Rome Fiumicino<\/strong>with the exception of a flight from Milan Malpensa to New York. From Rome, <strong>ITA to offer three weekly frequencies to Tokyo Haneda and Delhi<\/strong>. The aircraft put on the route will be an Airbus A330.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Fiumicino hub has been revitalised, offering fast connections between Europe and the airline's intercontinental or Italian network. \"\u00a0<em>Fiumicino is a real asset in Europe. Firstly, because the airport has been spectacularly renovated. And also, because this summer it proved that it offers a <strong>great punctuality<\/strong>. From January to August 2022, we achieved 82.1% punctuality and 99.9% regularity. This is a good performance when compared with many other European hubs.<\/em>\" says Pierfrancesco Carino.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sept-a-huit-vols-quotidiens-sur-la-france\">Seven to eight daily flights to France<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Milan Linate is ITA's second hub, but it remains mainly practical for point-to-point traffic and for a few connections, mainly within Italy. \"\u00a0<em>Our French traffic is doing rather well from <strong>Paris CDG and Paris Orly<\/strong><\/em>\" says Samy Addou, ITA's Director for France.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\">\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>business traffic is now picking up, particularly on the Orly-Milan route<\/p>\r\n<cite>Samy Addou, Director of ITA France<\/cite><\/blockquote>\r\n<\/aside>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This winter, ITA is serving <strong>Milan from Paris-Orly with four daily frequencies<\/strong>. While since<strong> CDG<\/strong>the company is offering<strong> three daily flights to Rome and three daily flights to Linate<\/strong>. Departing from <strong>Nice<\/strong>ITA dessert this winter <strong>Rome with one or two daily flights<\/strong>. \"\u00a0<em>We had very strong demand this summer in the leisure segment. But the <strong>business traffic<\/strong> now resumes, particularly on the Orly-Milan route<\/em>\" adds Samy Addou.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\">\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/interview-pierfrancesco-carino-ita-airways-20220513.html\/\" data-id=\"125021\">Interview with Pierfrancesco Carino, ITA Airways<\/a><\/p>\r\n<\/aside>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For the moment, no other stopovers in France are envisaged. But the arrival of <strong>new aircraft in 2023<\/strong> could mean a probable expansion of the network. And that could mean some pleasant surprises in France.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The rise of ITA Airways in Europe is thus based on <strong>a completely renewed fleet by 2025<\/strong>. By the end of 2021, the carrier had placed a firm order <span id=\"page3R_mcid11\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">with Airbus for <strong>28 devices<\/strong>of which<strong> seven A220s, 11 A320neos and 10 A330neos<\/strong>. It will also continue to rent <strong>Airbus A350<\/strong> to complete its fleet. The aim is to have a fleet of 100 new-generation aircraft by the end of 2009. <strong>2026<\/strong>. <br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\">\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/rachat-ita-airways-air-france-20220831.html\/\" data-id=\"129885\">Takeover of ITA Airways: Air France in exclusive negotiations<\/a><\/p>\r\n<\/aside>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-highlight-box\">\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Will the privatisation of ITA withstand the arrival of Giorgia Meloni, the new Prime Minister?<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>It had declared itself rather hostile to the <strong>privatisation of the national airline ITA Airways <\/strong>during the Italian election campaign. Could Giorgia Meloni, the future President of the Council, call into question the forthcoming partial privatisation of ITA, in particular the sale to a consortium in which Air France would be a stakeholder?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In fact, ITA was due to conclude its round of financing with the consortium formed by the American investment fund Certares, Air France-KLM and Delta Air Lines at the end of September. However, the far-right leader wants to take over the project. The partial privatisation has therefore been postponed until the end of October, to give the new government time to decide. Rumour has it among Fratelli d'Italia (Italian Brotherhood) party leaders that the future Prime Minister is no longer totally opposed to the sale.
