The project to extend the Terminal 2<\/strong> of theNice airport<\/strong> was presented in 2018<\/strong>. At the time, the traffic outlook remained positive, the Covid crisis <\/a>not having been there. Visit 2019<\/strong>Nice's two air terminals had practically reached saturation point with 14.5 million passengers<\/strong>. According to the airport, theoretical capacity is set at 14 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hence the need to develop 25,000 m\u00b2 of additional surface area<\/strong>. The project includes six new boarding gates, a reception hall, a check-in area and facilities for baggage sorting and border control. This additional module will be built in the direction of the Var river, where virgin land still exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has just been confirmed by the Marseille Administrative Court. It thus confirms the need for the project to develop terminal 2 and its integration into a wider low-carbon strategy<\/strong>. The adaptation of terminal 2 will enable passengers transiting through the hub to benefit from the best possible reception and safety conditions..<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
