ISO 20121<\/a>ISO 14001, ISO 9001: the travel industry has recently become accustomed to the proliferation of eco-responsible standards in the MICE sector. This time, it's a completely different form of responsibility that we're tackling. the ISO 31030 standard<\/strong>that of companies' duty to protect. Driven by the pandemic and by employees who are increasingly demanding of their employers, travel safety and security have taken on a new dimension, and covid has served as a kind of sounding board for this crucial issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Derived from the ISO 31000 standard on risk management, this is the first standard to focus exclusively on travel, hence its baseline \"Travel\".\u00a0Travel risk management - Recommendations for organisations<\/strong>\" . This initiative was prompted by the British Standards Institution. International SOS<\/a> played a leading role. Bringing together a panel of some forty experts from a wide range of backgrounds, including travel and risk managers, medical and safety directors, HR managers and associations such as the GBTA and the ASIS network of safety and security directors, these professionals contributed their different perspectives to produce the following conclusions a thirty-page compendium of best practices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
