Employees particularly point to traffic jams (51%), ahead of the cost of fuel (44 %) and parking problems, both in terms of cost and availability (38 %). According to Freenow, the value of the company car is also called into question by employees' views on the future of business travel: \" <em>almost one in 3 employees thinks that business travel will decrease in the coming years, reducing the interest in owning a vehicle that is mainly used for long journeys <\/em>\"According to Freenow's management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/interview-benjamin-giovanni-freenow-20230220.html\/\" data-id=\"142951\">Interview with Benjamin Giovanni Benjamin Giovanni, Key Account Manager Europe, FreeNow<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-encore-de-la-route-a-faire\">Still a long way to go<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there is still a long way to go, as shown by the other findings of the Freenow study. Starting with the still confidential nature of the mobility budget, which currently concerns only 7 % of employees. Furthermore, environmental awareness has not yet spread to all employers. Nearly half of employees (48.5%) believe that their company is not interested in the emissions caused by their employees' mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p>the French expect their employers to make a real commitment to these issues and to diversify their mode of transport<\/p><\/blockquote><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>\" <em>After the summer we've just had, many people are questioning their environmental impact and the way they travel. <\/em>\"says Benjamin Giovanni, Sales Director at Freenow France. \" <em>While we can see that this has an influence on the increasing use of micro-mobility for personal reasons, we can also see that on the professional side, the French expect their employer to make a real commitment to these issues and to truly diversify their means of transport. <\/em>\"he adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/freenow-super-app-paiement-centralise-20221108.html\/\" data-id=\"135985\">FREENOW extends its app to public transport and centralises payments with Amex<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vapo-widget\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trade in your company car for a mobility budget?
