FREENOW has just announced its partnership with American Express to connect its mobility solution for businesses to the Amex Business Travel Account, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/airplus-apple-pay-20220906.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AirPlus<\/a> has in turn announced a major breakthrough in this area. The German corporate payments specialist has concluded <strong>an agreement with the major player in the sector, Uber<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/freenow-super-app-paiement-centralise-20221108.html\/\" data-id=\"135985\">FREENOW extends its app to public transport and centralises payments with Amex<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Business travellers who use the Uber for Business solution will not have to <strong>no longer have to pay for their shopping in advance<\/strong> by VTC before being reimbursed via an expense account. With Uber's acceptance of the AirPlus Company Account, payment and invoicing for journeys booked via the world leader in VTCs' application are carried out in the background with AirPlus. This automation also applies to <strong>ordering a meal<\/strong> and other Uber delivery services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To go into the details of this development, AirPlus uses the following for its hosted account <strong>the UATP payment solution<\/strong>owned and used by the world's leading airlines. A network that Uber is the first car-sharing platform to join. \"\u00a0<em>Until now, the AirPlus Company Account has enabled companies to pay for air and rail travel, car hire and hotel reservations.<\/em>commented Oliver Wagner, CEO of AirPlus International. <em>With the integration of Uber Wallet, they can now take advantage of consolidated billing and assessment for journeys and other services provided by Uber.<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While travellers will benefit from the practicality of this integration,<strong> companies will gain greater control and visibility over all these recurring costs<\/strong> on business trips, as well as simplified reconciliation of expenses. \"\u00a0<em>What appeals to me most about the cooperation between Uber for Business and AirPlus is the simplicity and fluidity of the experience, which benefits both the people on the move and the travel managers or HR managers behind the scenes.<\/em>\" said Susan Anderson, Director of Uber for Business, a solution used by 170,000 businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Payment for Uber for Business via AirPlus will gradually be offered in all markets worldwide where the Uber application is available and where AirPlus operates. Initially,<strong> the United States and Eurozone countries will be the first to know<\/strong>This will be followed by other markets, starting with the UK, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/airplus-neutralite-carbone-solutions-20220323.html\/\" data-id=\"122759\">AirPlus: moving towards carbon neutrality for its solutions worldwide<\/a><\/p><\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AirPlus has teamed up with Uber for Business to simplify the payment of VTC journeys.
