Visit <strong>2023<\/strong>We expect some of these factors to be mitigated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/interview-adrien-cannes-gbt-20220505.html\/\" data-id=\"123721\">Interview : Adrien Cannes, American Express GBT Consulting<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does this price rise compare with pre-crisis levels?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adrien Cannes - <\/strong>In most regions of the world, prices in 2023 will be significantly higher than in 2019, with prices in 2022 already higher than in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To what extent can these price increases contain demand for business travel in 2023? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adrien Cannes - <\/strong>GBT Consulting's forecasts are based on empirical modelling over several years before, during and after Covid, taking into account changes in Corporate and Leisure demand, airline capacity, changes in the price of paraffin, market competitiveness and a number of macroeconomic indicators. In addition, regulatory trends and the airlines' long-term strategies have been taken into account in order to adjust the forecasts. These price increase forecasts will have an impact on certain travel decisions, but will not modify <strong>the fundamental need for people to travel, connect or reconnect face-to-face - for leisure as for business<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-monitor-2023-amex-gbt-20221208.html\/\" data-id=\"137725\">Air Monitor 2023: widespread price rises according to Amex GBT<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What levers can companies activate to deal with this phenomenon?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adrien Cannes - <\/strong>The Air Monitor report sets out the key elements of a strategy for managing your airline programme, which will enable you to develop and protect it despite the ups and downs. In the short term, we recommend that customers focus on encouraging travellers to <strong>anticipate bookings<\/strong>This will not only mitigate cost increases, but also offer travellers a more attractive travel experience. <strong>best choice of flights and seats<\/strong>because demand remains strong. For reasons of sustainability (and cost), customers may consider <strong>combine several trips into one<\/strong>We will also be looking at other modes of transport, such as rail, where possible.
