To strengthen its growth, the American hotelier is relying on both organic growth of its brands - particularly its contemporary brands Hyatt Place and Hyatt House in North America - and strategic acquisitions. Following on from the acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality and its lifestyle brands JdV, Alila and Thompson in 2018, and then of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hyatt-offre-resorts-20210817.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apple Leisure Group<\/a> last year, positioning Hyatt as a major player in all-inclusive luxury, the American group has continued its shopping spree with the takeover of the Dream Hotel Group.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\">\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/amerique-du-nord-hotels-2023-20230106.html\/\" data-id=\"139445\">2023 : Hotels expected in major North American cities<\/a><\/p>\r\n<\/aside>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This acquisition will further e<strong>nriching its portfolio of urban lifestyle hotels<\/strong> The Dream Hotel group is already present in strategic destinations such as New York, Miami Beach, Hollywood in Los Angeles and Nashville, through its Dream Hotels, Unscripted Hotels and The Chatwal brands. Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas and even Doha are among the many projects in the pipeline.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"424\" class=\"wp-image-141445\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/01-redering-of-andaz-macau-003.jpg\" alt=\"The future Andaz Macao.\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/01-redering-of-andaz-macau-003.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/01-redering-of-andaz-macau-003-300x182-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/>\r\n<figcaption>The future Andaz Macao.<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>While a quarter of Hyatt's projects involve lifestyle hotels, 2023 will be the year of the <strong>Caption by Hyatt brand takes off<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/caption-hyatt-lifestyle-20190926.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">positioned in the mid-range 'plus' segment<\/a>. Presented in 2019 and appearing for the first time in 2022 in Memphis, its presence in the United States will be strengthened in the United States with a hotel in Chattanooga, Tennessee, but also in Asia with Caption by Hyatt expected in Shanghai, Osaka and Ho Chi Minh City, with Sydney to follow in the coming years.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In the lifestyle category, Hyatt can also count on top-of-the-range brands such as Thompson Hotels - which will be making its debut in Palm Springs and Houston this year - or Hyatt Centric, expected in Austin, Shanghai and Xi'an. At the same time, its <strong>Andaz to continue its expansion in the world's major cities <\/strong>with this year's programme, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hyatt-andaz-mexico-city-20220524.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mexico City in January<\/a>then<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/moyen-orient-afrique-nouveaux-hotels-2023-20230117.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Doha<\/a>Nanjing and Macau, with a hotel of more than 700 rooms and suites with a broad orientation. L<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/asie-pacifique-hotels-2023-20230130.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Andaz Macao<\/a> will be part of an entire resort dedicated to corporate events, the Galaxy International Convention Center, with 40,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> flexible spaces and a capacity of up to 8,500 people for banquets and 12,000 for cocktails.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-radisson-se-concentre-sur-les-regions-emea-et-asie-pacifique\">Radisson focuses on the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Like Hyatt, the Radisson group is driven by a strong dynamic aimed at achieving a major objective: \"\u00a0<em><strong>become<\/strong> <strong>one of the world's top three hotel groups<\/strong><\/em>\" . While Radisson told Choice Hotels <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/choice-radisson-outre-atlantique-20220613.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the task of presiding over the company's destiny across the Atlantic<\/a>This ambition includes accelerating its development in Asia-Pacific. In 2022, the hotel group has already signed up 40% more hotels in this part of the world than in 2021. Thanks to its close ties with its main shareholder, the JinJiang Group, Radisson intends to double its portfolio in China over the next five years. With new Radisson RED lifestyle hotels in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/liverpool-radisson-red-reds-20221214.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Liverpool<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/radisson-red-arty-madrid-20221012.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Madrid<\/a>luxury hotels in Gdansk and Oslo in 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/radisson-collection-milan-seville-20210922.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Radisson Collection<\/a> With new hotels opening last year in Bilbao, Pula, Tirana, Riyadh, Tallinn and Istanbul, and more to come this year in Lyon, Milan and Vilnius, the hotel group has strengthened its presence in many destinations. Last year, its Radisson Blu brand confirmed its status as one of the world's leading hotels.\u00a0<em>Europe's largest premium brand<\/em>\" According to Radisson, with new openings in Romania, the UK and Spain, as well as in South Sudan and Madagascar. As for its four-star Radisson brand, its rapid growth has been confirmed with new properties in Belgium, Poland, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Dubai and Turkey.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-nouvelles-marques-et-expansion-internationale-pour-melia\">New brands and international expansion for Melia<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\r\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-138345\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/melia-nadal-zel.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"288\" height=\"152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/melia-nadal-zel.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/melia-nadal-zel-300x159-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 288px) 100vw, 288px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Among the major European groups, Spain's Melia International took advantage of the year to launch <strong>two new brands<\/strong>, l'<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/melia-double-rafael-nadal-20221216.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one in partnership with Rafael Nadal<\/a>ZEL, and the other, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/all-inclusive-groupes-hoteliers-20221122.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Falcon's Resorts by Meli\u00e1<\/a>The project is designed to consolidate the Group's leadership in the Caribbean leisure segment, with an innovative concept combining a cutting-edge hotel, a theme park and retail and leisure facilities. It will be one of 32 hotels opened by the Spanish group in 2022, with the group's first presence in the Seychelles, as well as offering new holiday destinations in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and South-East Asia. As part of the group's drive to expand in this region, the Spanish hotelier has set up for the first time in Vietnam, a country where its offering is set to grow further thanks to a partnership with the local Vinpearl group.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Melia now has a portfolio of over 100,000 rooms, including hotels in operation and those in the process of opening, <strong>2023 will see at least 25 openings<\/strong> in 14 countries, including flagship hotels such as the Palazzo Cordussio Gran Meli\u00e1, in a Renaissance palace in the heart of Milan, a lifestyle hotel ME by Meli\u00e1 in Malta and two resorts in Albania. Finally, the company has also announced new openings in Tanzania, Cape Verde, Cuba, Mexico, Brazil, Iran, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hyatt, Radisson,
