As is often the case, metro lines 1 and 14 will be the only ones spared, but they will be at risk of saturation. On line 1, Reuilly-Diderot, Bastille and Champs-Elys\u00e9es Cl\u00e9menceau stations will only be open during rush hour (7.30am-9.30pm and 4.30pm-7.30pm). H\u00f4tel de Ville station will only be open from 7.30am to 9.30am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Line 4 is expected to operate 1 train in 2 at peak times, compared with 1 train in 4 at off-peak times. Here too, station closures are to be expected. Simplon, Strasbourg Saint-Denis, R\u00e9aumur-S\u00e9bastopol, Cit\u00e9, Montparnasse-Bienvenue, Raspail and Al\u00e9sia will not be accessible throughout the day. Gare de l'Est station will only be open during rush hour (7.30am - 5.30pm).<br>9.30am and 4.30pm-7.30pm).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/greve-7-fevrier-perturbations-20230206.html\/\" data-id=\"142009\">Strike on 7 February: disruption to be expected<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, one train in three is expected on lines 2 and 12 during rush hour, and one in four during the rest of the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other metro lines will operate only partially, according to the following schedule, with the exception of line 3bis, which will be interrupted all day on 31 January:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/31-janvier-ratp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"418\" data-id=\"141593\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/31-janvier-ratp.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-141593\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/31-janvier-ratp.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/31-janvier-ratp-300x179-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/31-janvier.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"369\" data-id=\"141595\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/31-janvier.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-141595\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/31-janvier.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/31-janvier-300x158-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <strong>RER A <\/strong>will run at the rate of 1 in 2 trains - and only 1 in 4 during off-peak hours - with the interconnection maintained at Nanterre Pr\u00e9fecture. Operations on the <strong>RER B <\/strong>will also be limited to 50% at peak times, and 1 in 3 trains at off-peak times. The interconnection will again be interrupted at Gare du Nord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the surface, RATP expects <strong>8 out of 10 buses<\/strong> on average, as for <strong>tramway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Urban transport will also be disrupted in the main French cities. Like in <strong>Marseille <\/strong>where metro line 1 will be suspended all day on 31 January, and <strong>Lyon <\/strong>where line B will also be interrupted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"255\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/marseille-31-janvier.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-141497\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/marseille-31-janvier.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/marseille-31-janvier-300x109-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption><em>Traffic forecasts (metro and tram) in Marseille<\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ratp-trafic-16-fevrier-20230214.html\/\" data-id=\"142777\">Strike on 16 February: expected disruption<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tres-fortes-perturbations-a-la-sncf\">Major disruption on the SNCF<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>SNCF <\/strong>is also forecasting major disruption between 7pm on 30 January and 6am on 1 February. Starting with the networks <strong>INOUI TGV <\/strong>and <strong>OUIGO<\/strong>. On average, 1 train out of 3 is expected, with significant regional disparities: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>North TGV INOUI axis: 2 trains out of 5<\/li><li>INOUI TGV East axis: 1 train in 2<\/li><li>Atlantic axis TGV INOUI: 1 train in 4<\/li><li>South East TGV INOUI: 1 train in 2<\/li><li>OUIGO: 2 trains out of 5<\/li><li>Province to province: 1 in 3 trains<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>SNCF is also forecasting severe disruption to regional (TER) traffic, with only <strong>2 TER out of 10 <\/strong>on average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With regard to travel within<strong>international<\/strong>the <strong>SNCF <\/strong>forecasts near-normal traffic levels for the networks <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/nouvel-eurostar-thalys-disparaitra-20230124.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eurostar <\/a><\/strong>and <strong>Thalys<\/strong>. Operations on the Lyria network will be heavily affected, with other international routes operating at a quarter of their normal frequency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>air sector<\/strong>Business travellers can also expect disruption on 31 January. This will be particularly the case on the<strong>Orly airport<\/strong>The French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) has asked airlines to reduce their flight schedules by 20%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sncf-perturbe-greve-mercredi-20230207.html\/\" data-id=\"142289\">SNCF network still disrupted by strike action on Wednesday<\/a><\/p><\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the run-up to the strike on 31 January, RATP and SNCF are expecting major disruption on Tuesday.
