A renewed commitment with<strong> deployment of the LEAD label<\/strong>which stands for Label des Ev\u00e9nements \u00e0 Ambition Durable. Created by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/nh-programme-sanitaire-feel-safe-20200722.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SGS<\/a>promoted by Green \u00c9v\u00e9nements, one of the world's leading certification bodies, this label enables an independent third party to assess the direct impact of an event - recognised as bronze, silver or gold - through its 13 measures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ch\u00e2teauform' has already organised a number of LEAD events, including the GBTA Masterclasses in July 2022 - awarded the Silver label - and the annual seminar of one of its clients, Tenzing Conseil, the first to be awarded a Gold medal since the label was created. In addition, one of the Paris sites of Europe's leading venue for corporate events, seminars and training, the Ch\u00e2teauform' Le Metropolitan, is the first in France to be awarded the LEAD label for hosting <strong>100% of events with a sustainable ambition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to this exemplary approach, Ch\u00e2teauform' intends to <strong>spread the word to event organisers by co-signing the white paper<\/strong> with Green Ev\u00e9nements. Called \" <em>13 measures for a sustainable LEAD event<\/em> \"This document provides<strong> concrete, measurable advice<\/strong> to create responsible events. We have three ambitions: zero waste, zero net carbon and a positive social impact. \"\u00a0<em>Implementing the LEAD label for our events means moving from intention to action.<\/em>n,\" said Claire Schwartz, Head of Engagement at Ch\u00e2teauform'.<em> With this white paper, we hope to inspire our customers, our partners and the entire industry.<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/interview-abittan-chateauform-entreprise-20220621.html\/\" data-id=\"127845\">Benjamin Abittan (Ch\u00e2teauform): \"Business can improve the world of tomorrow\".<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the best practices concerning <strong>zero waste<\/strong>The white paper recommends eco-designing the event around the '5Rs' hierarchy - refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle - and banning single-use products, recovering surplus food and transforming residual waste into resources. Direct applications of this advice include reusable promotional material, badges made of bristol instead of plastic, replacing kakemonos with digital screens, water fountains, coffee beans, glass crockery and dried flowers. The<strong> waste recycling<\/strong> by composting or methanisation is also encouraged, as is the donation of surpluses to associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of ambition<strong> zero carbon<\/strong>The white paper highlights the Climeet calculator, developed by events professionals and presented as the most accurate on the market. <strong>minimising this footprint<\/strong>. In this context, the use of environmentally-friendly means of transport - car-pooling to distant sites, for example - and the optimisation of logistics and deliveries are highlighted. For the rest, residual emissions are logically encouraged to be offset. The White Paper also extols the virtues of a low-carbon diet, either vegetarian or, at best, respecting the 10% proportion of meat and fish in the total weight of food served.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As far as food is concerned, short distribution channels and organic products are naturally encouraged as ways of giving events a local and positive impact, which is the subject of the third part of this white paper. \"\u00a0<em>Organising an event is an opportunity for an organisation to be <strong>driving greater social justice<\/strong><\/em>\" he added. With more parity on stage, the inclusion of people who are far from employment backstage, gender equality, access and experiences adapted to the disabled with menus in Braille or real-time subtitling for the hearing impaired: the impact of these professional meetings is intended to extend beyond the company's own circle.
