Under the aptly-named Flower Dome<\/strong>or in the heart of the Rain Forest<\/strong>With a total surface area of 101 hectares, this is an aesthetically pleasing, futuristic setting. And it's now being enhanced with occasional events, such as the partnership signed with the second part of the film Avatar a few months ago. All with a vast eco-responsible programme. Another option, in the fresh air: the botanical garden and its famous National Orchid Garden<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking to the open seas, casting off from convention centres and meeting rooms: this is another option available to MICE players, for an hour, half a day or more. Monster Day Tours, for example, offers to take up to 18 participants to the Southern Islands<\/strong>. It's a timeless experience, during which participants can stroll along the Kusu Island<\/strong>between a Chinese temple and a turtle sanctuary. Gastronomic activities can be added to the excursion, such as a barbecue, kayaking or fishing session...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cultural and spiritual dive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Singapore offers a unique blend of architecture and culture, a colourful patchwork of Chinese, Malay and Indian influences. You can't leave the City-State without soaking up the Peranakan aesthetic at Katong <\/strong>or Joo Chiat <\/strong>without having wandered between the stalls of Chinatown <\/strong>to bring back an indispensable trinket or a precious good-luck charm; without having smelled the spices of Little India<\/strong>admired the sculptures and colours of the temples. Singapore is also a spiritual crossroads, where you can go from a Hindu ceremony to a Buddhist ritual or a visit to the majestic Sultan Mosque in just a few minutes. Another up-to-the-minute activity is a trip to the Marina dam<\/strong> and its Sustainable Singapore Gallery<\/strong>. The permanent exhibition focuses on environmental issues and how Singapore is addressing them today and will continue to do so in the future. It's a fascinating look at a global issue, with concrete implications at a local level. It's all well served by an effective, interactive display, and above all by the educational approach and commitment of the Sustainable Singapore Gallery guides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
