The 2023-2024 financial year will therefore see the opening of <strong>seven new destinations around the world<\/strong>. <strong>France is one of the markets best served by the rise of Qatar Airways. <\/strong>It is therefore taking full advantage of the open skies agreement between the European Union and Qatar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lyon will be served from 3 July<\/strong>, <strong>Toulouse is still waiting for an opening date to be announced<\/strong>. As for <strong>Nice<\/strong>Qatar Airways is expected to resume this route before the summer season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frequency increases are also planned in Europe on <strong>Berlin, Dublin, D\u00fcsseldorf, Edinburgh, London Heathrow, Milan, Vienna and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/aeroport-zurich-expansion-20220826.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zurich<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/accord-ciel-ouvert-qatar-airways-20211020.html\/\" data-id=\"115003\">The open skies agreement between Qatar and the EU will mainly benefit Qatar Airways<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-plus-de-vols-sur-l-asie\">More flights to Asia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In Asia, the carrier has been landing at Medan in Indonesia since the beginning of the year and will be launching at Chittagong in 2024.<\/strong>. The company is also gaining momentum on the continent with the takeover of Beijing, Davao, Tokyo Haneda, Phnom Penh and Ras al Khaimah by the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning of April, it will also resume flights to Osaka. Increased frequencies are planned to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Manila and Phuket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"\u00a0<em><strong>Our offer already exceeds our 2019 level<\/strong> while, according to IATA, supply remains 30% lower on average at the start of the year<\/em>\" said <strong>Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways<\/strong>. He added: \"\u00a0<em>We proved throughout the Covid crisis, an unprecedented crisis, that passengers could count on us. We never stopped operating, we carried passengers, even from other airlines. And finally, we have never failed to repay them when necessary.<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The resumption of the carrier's meteoric growth is a sign of its resilience. And also of the fact that it has definitively returned to its ambitions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/qatar-airways-nice-2-20230511.html\/\" data-id=\"148309\">Qatar Airways, from Nice to Auckland via Lyon and Toulouse<\/a><\/p><\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During his annual conference at ITB Berlin, the CEO of Qatar Airways announced the opening of seven new destinations and an increase in frequencies on a number of routes.
