And now <strong>a third German airline, a subsidiary of the group, is coming to Munich airport: City Airlines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, launched in May 2022, includes <strong>40 Airbus A319s for this airline, which will operate point-to-point services from the Bavarian capital.<\/strong>. At the end of October 2022, the carrier had announced that it was halting this project due to the hostility of the pilots' unions. But in fact, City Airlines has just obtained its licence to fly. <strong>And to launch its website<\/strong> dedicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p>fast, convenient connections to Lufthansa's global network<\/p><\/blockquote><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>The site gives no information about the future network or the number of aircraft that will form the basis of City Airlines. From our hub, we will also offer fast and convenient connections to Lufthansa's global network.<\/em>. \"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>City Airlines is looking for staff from the summer, once an armistice on current working conditions signed between the unions and the German group's management comes to an end. <strong>Future crews are likely to be paid less than their Lufthansa counterparts.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The future regional carrier should have at least one or two aircraft by the end of the summer<\/strong>These will probably be taken over from the Lufthansa City Jet subsidiary.
