Helping to revitalise the centre of the Californian metropolis, these two brands will be housed in a 37-storey tower, a new landmark illuminated by a 1,400 m2 LED screen, the largest 3D billboard on the West Coast. L-shaped, with each hotel occupying one of the two wings, the tower was designed by the renowned architectural firm Gensler, while on the interior design side, another well-known name, the Yabu Pushelberg studio, gave the whole complex a contemporary feel, inspired in particular by the cult film Easy Rider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/amerique-du-nord-hotels-2023-20230106.html\/\" data-id=\"139445\">2023 : Hotels expected in major North American cities<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>With 347 rooms at the AC Hotel and 380 at the Moxy, this complex is an attractive base for business travellers. Not least because of its location,<strong> opposite the Los Angeles Convention Center <\/strong>and the Crypto.com Arena, the namesake since late 2021 of the Staples Center, home of the famous Lakers team. This positioning is reinforced by a meeting space of over 1,000 m\u00b2, comprising two meeting rooms, two studios at the Moxy for creative brainstorming and a <strong>high-tech main hall with a capacity of 600 people<\/strong>It can accommodate both conferences and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" data-id=\"146415\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/marriott-moxy-dtla-lobby.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-146415\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/marriott-moxy-dtla-lobby.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/marriott-moxy-dtla-lobby-300x200-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption>Lobby of the Moxy Downtown Los Angeles<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" data-id=\"146417\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/marriott-ac-dtla-library.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-146417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/marriott-ac-dtla-library.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/marriott-ac-dtla-library-300x200-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption>AC Hotel Library<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But it is above all through its<strong> huge range of bars and restaurants <\/strong>The complex aims to set itself apart and become a key address in Downtown Los Angeles. Each hotel has its own offer: Bluestone Lane Coffee Shop and Bar Moxy on the one hand, and AC Bar &amp; Lounge and La Lo La Rooftop on the other, an open-air venue on the 34th floor where you can enjoy tapas while gazing out over the city to the Hollywood Hills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But this is not the centrepiece of the two hotels' offer. Later this spring, the complex will see the opening of the <strong>Level 8<\/strong>a restaurant and entertainment concept common to both establishments. Designed by Mark and Jonnie Houston, Level 8 - on the eighth floor, naturally - is made up of eight distinct venues, a Pr\u00e9vert-like inventory of lively spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Business travellers will find a cocktail bar, Mr. Wanderlust, the Mother of Pearl oyster bar, the French-Japanese teppanyaki restaurant Maison Kasai and hot pot specialities at Lucky Mizu. Outside, guests can enjoy the taqueria Brown Sheep on the terrace and, <strong>by the pool<\/strong>the South American grill Qu\u00e9 Barbaro and the Golden Hour bar. A nightclub, Sinners y Santos, and a live music and entertainment venue, Tinseltown, round off the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>By integrating the two hotels, plus Level 8, into a single building, we are creating <strong>a myriad of experiences<\/strong> ever offered in Los Angeles, at a price you can afford<\/em>\" said Mitchell Hochberg, president of property developer
