Just appeared at Berlin<\/a>lifestyle brand The Hoxton is also taking to the skies of Brussels, having recently moved into the 22-storeyformer IBM headquarters<\/strong>. The Hoxton's resident design studio, AIME Studios, has transformed a brutalist-style office tower into a hotel, playing on the seventies atmosphere and the volumes of the space to create a distinctive aesthetic. This begins at the entrance, with a double-height lobby featuring a retro-style bar dotted with vintage chairs and sofas. For its arty feel, the establishment has called on local artists such as Bieke Buckinx, Madeleine Schilling and Claire de Quenetain, as well as collaborating with the NATIONA(A)L association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situated in the north of the Belgian capital, close to the Botanical Gardens and the Mima Museum of Modern Art - pending the inauguration of the KANAL-Centre Pompidou in 2024 - as well as Rue Dansaert, the beating heart of Brussels fashion, the hotel's surroundings reflect those of Ennismore, the lifestyle hotel subsidiary of the Accor group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
