In April, <strong>the Provence hub was the only one, along with Beauvais, to record higher passenger traffic than in April 2019<\/strong>. This represents growth of 2.1%. <strong>Cumulative between January and April 2023<\/strong>according to the latest DGAC statistics, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/marseille-montreal-annuel-air-transat-20230417.html\/\">Marseille<\/a> welcomed 2.94 million passengers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It's shaping up to be a promising summer with <strong>a dozen new air routes in Europe<\/strong>. <strong>Volotea<\/strong> is the airline offering the greatest number of new services. The regional low-cost carrier offers two flights a week to Brest (Monday and Friday), Copenhagen (Thursday and Sunday), Florence (Monday and Friday) and Olbia (Tuesday and Friday).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ryanair<\/strong> serves Bristol until the end of September with two flights a week (Wednesday and Saturday), Glasgow-Prestwick (Wednesday and Sunday) and Treviso\/Venice (5 flights a week).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Easyjet<\/strong> relaunching the Marseille-Basel\/Mulhouse service every Monday and Friday. This route had not been served for several years. Easyjet is also positioning itself on Lisbon (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).<\/p>\n<p>Traditional companies, <strong>Austrian Airlines<\/strong> arrives in the capital of Provence. The Austrian airline is offering three weekly flights to Vienna (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). For its part, <strong>Air Serbia<\/strong> offers two flights every Tuesday and Saturday to Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that the city of Marseille is also expanding its offer in the Middle East. Saudi low-cost<strong> Flynas<\/strong> serves Jeddah three times a week. While the<strong>Air Arabia Egypt<\/strong> also offers two weekly frequencies to Cairo.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belgrade, Basel, Copenhagen, Florence or Glasgow. These are just some of the European destinations to which Marseille Provence airport is linked this
