Announced on 24 May at a <strong>Rail services monitoring committee<\/strong>This measure concerns night trains known as <strong>\"The Pyrenean<\/strong> and <strong>\"L'Occitan<\/strong>including the new night service <strong>Paris-Aurillac-Paris<\/strong>. Coupled with the night train to Rodez, the train will split at Brive-la-Gaillarde to serve the Lot and Cantal regions, with stops at Saint-Denis-Pr\u00e8s-Martel, Bretenoux-Biars, Laroquebrou and Aurillac (arriving at 8.20am). Available from <strong>10 December <\/strong>However, this sleeper train will only operate on Friday and Sunday evenings outside school holidays, and once a day during zone C holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/obb-trains-nuits-paris-berlin-20230911.html\/\" data-id=\"156749\">\u00d6BB to launch night trains to Berlin from Paris and Brussels on 11 December<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to track works, SNCF then announced that the Le Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9en link to Cerb\u00e8re would be operated from 10 December and for at least 8 years via the Mediterranean coast. From <strong>new stations <\/strong>will be served: N\u00eemes Centre, Montpellier Saint-Roch, S\u00e8te, Agde and B\u00e9ziers. Another new feature is that the train to Lourdes will continue its journey every night during the summer period as far as Hendaye, stopping at Pau, Orthez, Dax, Bayonne, Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/intercites-couchettes.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-149823\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/intercites-couchettes.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/intercites-couchettes-300x225-derived.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/intercites-couchettes-80x60-derived.jpg 80w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/intercites-couchettes-265x198-derived.jpg 265w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sncf-energie-contrat-eolien-20230711.html\/\" data-id=\"152171\">The SNCF is also banking on wind power<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-la-france-longtemps-a-la-traine-sur-les-dessertes-de-nuit\">France has long lagged behind in night-time services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It was during his speech on 14 July 2021 that the President <strong>Emmanuel Macron <\/strong>is committed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/trains-de-nuit-relance-etat-20211213.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">relaunch night trains <\/a>as part of its <strong>ecological transition<\/strong>. Only two services remained (Paris-Cerb\u00e8re and Paris-Brian\u00e7on), <strong>ten additional national lines are planned between now and 2030<\/strong>the Paris-Nice - the famous <strong>\"Blue Train<\/strong> - and Paris-Tarbes were the first to resume service in 2022. Operated by SNCF Voyageurs, all these lines receive financial support from the<strong>Status <\/strong>because they are structurally unprofitable. In order to reduce CO2 emissions from car and, above all, air travel, new sleeper trains are also expected to be introduced in Europe. <strong>\u00d6BB <\/strong>being particularly offensive with its star-shaped network from the Austrian capital as on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/retour-train-de-nuit-france-20210929.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Paris-Vienne<\/strong><\/a>. This represents more than 20% of its business. On 25 May, the Dutch company European Sleepers inaugurated a night-time rail link between <strong>Brussels <\/strong>and <strong>Berlin <\/strong>three times a week. However, these national and international projects require significant investment.
