To accelerate the sustainable transition of its network, the group is now committed to making it easier to obtain an eco-certificate. <strong>100% certification for its hotels<\/strong>. The French hotel chain has just signed two international partnerships with the Green Key and Green Globe labels. These are two key players whose standards are recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), and who will be able to validate the eco-responsible practices of their establishments through an external audit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/clef-verte-hotellerie-francaise-20230117.html\/\" data-id=\"140453\">The Green Key label in vogue among French hoteliers<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>Independent certification is a necessity for all hotels as it helps us to demonstrate our commitment to sustainable development, to <strong>meet the growing expectations of our customers<\/strong> and contribute to the scientific objectives<\/em>\" said Brune Poirson, Accor's Director of Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At a time when hotel customers and staff alike are paying ever greater attention to sustainable initiatives, labelling is emerging as a new way of ensuring the quality of hotel services. <strong>selection criterion <\/strong>essential. In addition to these global partnerships, Accor works with local programs such as Ecotourism Australia to certify all of its hotels in Australia and the Pacific Rim, a market in which Accor is a leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, the French group will also contribute to the certification of sustainable destinations, such as Marseille, where Accor is committed to obtaining certification for all its hotels by 2024, in line with the city's ambitions.
