The managers of <strong>London Gatwick <\/strong>have therefore pulled out all the stops for this vast renovation, which was officially launched on Tuesday but work actually began at the end of the month. <strong>May<\/strong>. No less than <strong>10 million pounds<\/strong> (\u20ac11.6 million) will be invested over the coming months, with the aim of completing the work by early <strong>2024. <\/strong>According to the objectives set by those in charge of the project, passengers should then be able to benefit from a \" <em>a more personalised experience <\/em>\"in the breast <em>a relaxing place to spend time, better reflecting London Gatwick's status as a major international airport <\/em>\". New, more modern seats are to be installed, all equipped with electrical sockets. It is <strong>easyJet <\/strong>which operates this seasonal service, with two flights a week. Departures are at 7.20am on Wednesdays and 3.55pm on Sundays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This launch should contribute to the fine dynamic of the Corsican airport, which announced a few weeks ago that it had beaten its previous record. <strong>record traffic<\/strong>. Calvi airport welcomed <strong>346,496 passengers <\/strong>in 2022.
