Rome's luxury hotel scene continues to expand. After the long-awaited opening of a Bulgari hotel at the beginning of June, a few months after that of a Six Senses, the Italian capital recently welcomed the Edition brand. Jointly developed by Marriott and Ian Schrager, the pioneer of the boutique hotel industry, this luxury lifestyle brand has set up shop just off the prestigious Via Veneto, within the walls of a former Italian bank. The building was constructed in the 1940s, and its rationalist style is in keeping with the the sense of pure, contemporary design embodied today by Edition hotels<\/strong>The Roman adventure is the sixteenth in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
