This makeover will see the London convention centre add <strong>25 000 m\u00b2<\/strong> to an already comfortable 100,000 m\u00b2. This will open up a whole new range of possibilities for event organisers. But they won't necessarily have to wait for the official inauguration to plan their operation within the walls of the convention centre. This 'digital twin' should make it easier for organisers to make decisions and communicate, enabling them to share personalised projections of their event with their partners. The digital version of ExCeL London should also reduce the number of on-site visits, a strategic argument for clients from outside the UK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/relooking-barbican-centre-20230731.html\/\" data-id=\"153203\">The Barbican Centre prepares for its transformation<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p>Visiting sites in person, particularly for those outside the UK, can be expensive, time-consuming and carbon-intensive, so we believe that bringing ExCeL to their screens at the click of a button will have a real impact.<\/p><cite>James Rees, Executive Director of ExCeL London<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/london-excel.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-153169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/london-excel.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/london-excel-300x169-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/parc-expositions-abidjan-mice-20230718.html\/\" data-id=\"152607\">The Abidjan Exhibition Centre, C\u00f4te d'Ivoire's new MICE showcase<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>\"<em>Thanks to OnePlan, organisers can now have a \"digital twin\" of their event space, enabling them not only to <strong>better planning<\/strong>but also to optimise elements such as the <strong>incoming and outgoing flows<\/strong> and the location of signage and sponsorship activities<\/em>\"says ExCeL's Executive Director James Rees, who also sees it as a \".<em>a sales and marketing tool<\/em>\". \"\u00a0<em>We also know from experience that visiting sites in person, particularly for those outside the UK, can be expensive, time-consuming and carbon-intensive, so we believe that bringing ExCeL to their screens at the click of a button will have a real impact. As a carbon neutral venue, using OnePlan aligns perfectly with our new ESG strategy and our ambitions to be Net Zero by 2030, as well as responding to the growing interest we are receiving from
