Already established on Herengracht, in the Negen Straatjes district, nine typical, lively alleyways in the heart of the city, the brand has just opened a second hotel in Amsterdam. in the Eastern Docks district<\/strong>10 minutes by bike or tram from Centraal station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the brand - which is part of Accor's lifestyle brands portfolio - is revisiting the seventies-style former IBM headquarters in Brussels, it is another, older business building that the brand has converted to top-of-the-range hospitality: the headquarters of the Royal Dutch Lloyd Shipping Company<\/strong>. This century-old building with its Art Deco roots, to which Hoxton Lloyd Amsterdam owes its name, has been redesigned by Ennismore's in-house studio, AIME, in association with local interior design firm Nicemakers. Period stained glass and tiles, elegant panelling combine with contemporary motifs, works of art selected by the Stitching Kunstwerk Loods6 collective, and a space outside left to the imagination of street artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
