The Pullman Singapore Hill Street, which has just opened its doors in the heart of the City-State, plunges its guests into the world of sleeping cars created in the 19th century.<sup>e<\/sup> century by George Pullman. <strong>A journey into the past<\/strong> organised in a contemporary way. A common thread designed by DP Architects continues in the decor of the 350 rooms and suites, inspired by railway cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/accor-marques-reunion-20230724.html\/\" data-id=\"152767\">Accor: evolving MICE brands<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>We are honoured to be the first Pullman in the world to make<strong> a tribute to the brand's roots <\/strong>in luxury train travel, with design details that represent a modern version of a bygone era, like the spirit of top-level hospitality.<\/em>\" said Mazen Abilmona, General Manager of Pullman Singapore Hill Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the <strong>the brand's second hotel in the city<\/strong>The new Pullman Orchard Street hotel, which will open in 2022, is keeping up with the times, with kiosks offering automated check-in for travellers who don't want to go through reception, and intelligent technology for personalising room functions, from lighting to temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"501\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/pullman-singapour-hill-street-murphy.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-158177\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/pullman-singapour-hill-street-murphy.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/pullman-singapour-hill-street-murphy-300x215-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption><em>Murphy beds for bedrooms with flexible space.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But the Pullman Singapore Hill Stree is also addressing another current issue with a strong commitment to sustainable development. A CSR strategy that takes the form of<strong> solar panels on the roof<\/strong>In addition, the hotel has installed a water-saving system, limiting food waste and an irrigation system for efficient water management. Fed by this system, the rooms overlooking the courtyard have walls cascading with greenery, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Offering views of the hotel's swimming pool or the city's landmarks such as Fort Canning or Marina Bay, the rooms also play on their flexibility to offer business travellers a good balance between work and leisure thanks to the use of Murphy beds that can be folded away to switch from a lounge atmosphere to a bedroom ambience. Residents can also take advantage of the hotel's various areas designed for both relaxation and work, including a <strong>VIP Lounge<\/strong> reserved for guests of executive rooms and studio suites, as well as members of the ALL programme from Platinum status upwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sydney-ouest-conferences-pullman-20230829.html\/\" data-id=\"155437\">Conference centre, Pullman hotel: things are happening in Sydney's west<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>The names of the meeting and event rooms also evoke the hotel's theme of great journeys: Grand Central and Oculus, reminiscent of New York; Shimbashi, a reference to one of Tokyo's great stations; and Iron Duke, the locomotives that hauled the legendary Flying Dutchman. As for the restaurants, they are all<strong>gastronomic stopovers<\/strong>In the United States with Madison's and its menu of bagels and burgers, in Japan with the izakaya MOGA and in Mexico with the El Chido bar by the infinity pool.
