Based on the model of the approach initiated at Amsterdam Schiphol, the main airport of <strong>London <\/strong>in turn intends to make the passenger journey smoother. From 3 October, <strong>Heathrow Timeslot<\/strong> allows passengers to reserve their time slot for security checks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/amsterdam-schiphol-creneau-securite-20230712.html\/\" data-id=\"152259\">Schiphol extends security slot booking to all destinations<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Not all passengers are eligible: the scheme is limited to Terminal 3 passengers travelling with American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Emirates and Virgin Atlantic. <strong>Heathrow Timeslot <\/strong>is, for the time being, just a <strong>experiment<\/strong>. This must last <strong>six months<\/strong>During this period, other companies are expected to join the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>Everyone knows about airport security, but at Heathrow we are constantly thinking of innovative ways to enhance security and streamline the experience for our passengers.<\/em>says Mark Powell. The Director of Operational Planning at Heathrow adds: '\"<em>This new trial will give passengers a little more certainty and reassurance ahead of their journey and we think it will be particularly popular with families or anxious travellers who want a little more assurance when travelling.
