The first passengers discovered the new space on <strong>13 October. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The 1,300 m\u00b2 surface area can accommodate just over 300 passengers.<\/strong> in themed areas. A lounge for rest and relaxation, work areas, a garden, a dining room, a \"wellness\" bar serving teas and detox drinks, a wine bar, showers, a Guerlain treatment room (coming soon) - everything has been designed to offer premium passengers a real moment of relaxation. The whole area is bathed in natural light, with large bay windows overlooking the incessant ballet of aircraft on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/star-alliance-new-lounge-guangzhou\/\" data-id=\"222735\">Star Alliance inaugurates a new lounge<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"933\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/star-alliance-lounge-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-159899\" style=\"width:327px;height:435px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/star-alliance-lounge-2.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/star-alliance-lounge-2-225x300-derived.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>The relaxation area with a view of the slopes (photo: LC)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The show is banking on <strong>elegant French touch <\/strong>in the choice of fabrics and furniture, as well as the photos and works of art that are the pride of <strong>Virginie Auriol, Star Alliance France Director<\/strong>. \"\u00a0<em>The show took 8 months to complete, but <strong>we had been working on his concept for 5 years<\/strong>. The covid actually slowed it down. But the result is really superb<\/em>\" she describes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new exhibition, located in a non-Schengen area, confirms <strong>the strategic status of Paris for the alliance<\/strong>the largest in terms of number of flights and airlines after Skyteam. \"\u00a0<em>We have <strong>20 airlines in Paris offering 464 weekly flights to 22 countries<\/strong>. Each of them made a pro rata contribution to the development of this trade show, which required a total of <strong>investment of 10 million euros<\/strong><\/em>\" explains Theo Panagiotoulias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This is the seventh Star Alliance lounge in the world<\/strong>. The other lounges are located at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/star-alliance-amsterdam-salon-20190308.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amsterdam<\/a>Buenos Aires, Los Angeles and Rio de Janeiro, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/star-alliance-lounge-rome-fiumicino-20221215.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rome Fiumicino <\/a>and Paris CDG (Intra-Schengen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>However, most Star passengers use the old lounge located before the Schengen traffic satellites.<\/strong>. This includes the 5 airlines in the Lufthansa Group as well as Aegean, LOT and SAS Scandinavian Airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, the new show will welcome <strong>premium and Star Alliance Gold passengers on Air China, ANA, Egyptair, Ethiopian Airlines, Eva Air, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways International, Turkish Airlines and United Airlines<\/strong>. We have already <strong>a programme of 60 service standards<\/strong>which our members must apply. But we want to do even better.
