Air travel could be disrupted this Wednesday as a result of theevacuation of six French airports <\/strong>on the morning of 18th October<\/strong>. The airports of Beauvais, Lille, Lyon (Bron), Nantes, Nice and Toulouse<\/strong> are affected, with varying levels of disruption. According to initial information relayed by AFP, threats of attack have been sent by e-mail to staff at certain hubs. In other airports, suspicious packages were reported, notably at Nantes <\/a><\/strong>and Nice<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airport of Nice <\/a><\/strong>announced shortly before midday on Wednesday, via X (formerly Twitter), that \"\u00a0the situation has returned to normal\".<\/em>. And alerts are gradually being lifted at other airports, notably Lyon Bron <\/strong>: \"\u00a0Resumption of traffic at Bron airport and normal traffic at Lyon-Saint Exup\u00e9ry airport<\/em>\u00a0\"said A\u00e9roports de Lyon. Lille airport also announced at around 1pm that the Prefecture had given the go-ahead for staff and passengers to return to the airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'Beauvais airport<\/a><\/strong> has updated its information message, which since Wednesday afternoon reads: \"\u00a0Now that the airport's infrastructure has been checked by the French government, the terminals are being reopened.
