At the beginning of the year, the Intercity Hotel brand set up shop in the immediate vicinity of Berlin Brandenburg International Airport<\/a>This is a continuation of a development strategy focused on business travellers. Being as close as possible to major hubs<\/strong> or central stations: in Switzerland, this desire has already materialised in the form of a hotel near the Zurich hub. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make its entry into French-speaking Switzerland today, the Deutsche Hospitality Group brand has followed this guiding principle by setting up shop not far from Geneva-Cointrin airport, in the Etang district<\/strong>. A former industrial site redeveloped as a new urban centre with sustainable ambitions, marked by the award of the SNBS-Quartier label. Located in the commune of Vernier, this redevelopment project, known as Evolution+ Quartier de l'\u00c9tang, combines housing and schools, a shopping centre and office buildings, bars and restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
