{"id":161203,"date":"2023-10-30T06:52:13","date_gmt":"2023-10-30T05:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=161203"},"modified":"2023-10-30T15:11:00","modified_gmt":"2023-10-30T14:11:00","slug":"qantas-paris-perth-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/qantas-paris-perth-2024","title":{"rendered":"Qantas confirms its Paris-Perth flight will open in summer 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rumours about <strong>the return of a direct link between France and Australia<\/strong> had already been circulating for several years, particularly after the launch of a non-stop flight by Australia's national airline <strong>Qantas <\/strong>a flight <strong>London Heathrow-Perth<\/strong>. Last year, the Australian airline finally chose Rome Fiumicino for a seasonal flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has finally confirmed that it will be <strong>Paris CDG to be linked to Perth from 12 July<\/strong>in Western Australia. It is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/qantas-air-france-perth-20230227.html\/\">big comeback for Qantas<\/a>which was present in France in the 1990s with a flight from Paris to Sydney via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/singapour-art-recevoir-20230223.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Singapore<\/a>. The airline suspended all its flights to Europe in the early 2000s, with the exception of London. For several years, however, it maintained a presence in Western Europe through a code-share agreement with Emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-perth-porte-d-entree-australienne-pour-l-europe\">Perth, Australia's gateway to Europe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The choice of Perth - rather than <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sydney-cbd-theorie-de-levolution-20160526.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sydney <\/a><\/strong>or Melbourne - is no coincidence. <strong>The metropolis of Western Australia is in fact the closest city to Europe.<\/strong> for non-stop flights. This now positions it as a hub for both Asia and Europe. Qantas serves some twenty destinations with its regional subsidiary, including 16 Australian cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The future Qantas Paris-Perth flight will take off three times a week, all year round<\/strong>. Nevertheless, it will be used <strong>four times a week from July to August<\/strong>because of the Paris Olympic Games. \"\u00a0<em>Some of the first customers on these flights will be Australian athletes travelling to Paris to compete in the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games<\/em>\" said Qantas Group CEO Vanessa Hudson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CEO of the Qantas Group said she was delighted that Paris was back on the Qantas map with <strong>a non-stop service for the first time<\/strong>. \"\u00a0<em>This route has been on our wish list for some time. We think our customers will be as pleased as we are to see this direct link to the French capital.<\/em>\" she explained. \"Our direct flights to London and Rome are extremely popular. <strong>Paris is the second most popular destination<\/strong>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-un-boeing-787-dreamliner-basse-densite\">A low-density Boeing 787 Dreamliner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The flight between Paris and Perth will take an average of 16.35 hours.<\/strong>and 17:20 for the return journey. <strong>The aircraft will continue its route to Sydney<\/strong>which it will reach after an average 4-hour flight. <strong>The Qantas Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will have 236 seats<\/strong>of which <strong>42 seats in business class<\/strong>28 in Premium Economy and 166 in Eco. This is a very low-density configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new flights will use <strong>Qantas terminal 3 at Perth airport<\/strong>. It will enable<strong>smooth connections to other domestic destinations in Australia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From Paris, passengers will have connecting options to over 70 destinations.<\/strong>. This includes Barcelona, Munich, Frankfurt and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/athenes-crise-et-redressement-20190506.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Athens<\/a>and 12 destinations in France.
