The company has returned to the era of the <strong>megacontrols<\/strong>. She bought <strong>Boeing <\/strong>\u00a095 additional wide-body aircraft, bringing its total order book to 295 aircraft.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>World's largest operator of wide-body passenger aircraft, Emirates to buy additional Boeing 777-9s, 777-8s and 787s<\/strong>. Investment reaches <strong>52 billion dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In the presence of the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and several members of the royal family, the company's CEO Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum initialled the contract with Stan Deal, President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Sheikh Ahmed said: \"\u00a0<em><strong>From day one, Emirates' business model has been to operate modern, efficient wide-body aircraft.<\/strong>. They are capable of carrying our passengers comfortably and safely over long distances to and via Dubai. The aircraft orders placed today reflect this strategy.<\/em>\" .<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\">\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>Add 400 cities to Dubai's foreign trade map over the next decade<\/p>\r\n<cite>Sheikh Ahmed, CEO of Emirates <\/cite><\/blockquote>\r\n<\/aside>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-premier-operateur-au-monde-de-boeing-777\">World's first Boeing 777 operator<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>These additional aircraft will enable Emirates to connect even more cities, supporting<strong> Dubai's economic agenda D33<\/strong>. It aims to add 400 cities to Dubai's foreign trade map over the next decade. By the early 2030s, <strong>the Emirates fleet will comprise around 350 aircraft<\/strong>linking Dubai to even more cities around the world<\/em>\" added the CEO.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/emirates-2-milliards-dollars-20220812.html\/\">Emirates<\/a>which is already the world's leading Boeing 777 operator, has signed firm orders for an additional 55 777-9s and 35 777-8s.<\/strong>. This brings the airline's 777-X order book to a total of <strong>205 devices<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>With its previous order of 115 units, <strong>the first 777-9 should join the Emirates fleet in 2025<\/strong>. The additional orders signed today mean that<strong>Emirates to introduce new 777-9s into its fleet until 2035<\/strong>. Emirates is also expected to be one of the first customers for the passenger variant of the 777-8, the first deliveries of which are scheduled for 2030.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Emirates was not the only airline to place orders for new aircraft. <strong>The low-cost airline <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/flydubai-business-suite-20230503.html\/\">Flydubai <\/a><\/strong>has also confirmed an option to purchase <strong>30 Boeing 787-9<\/strong>. The order is worth 11 billion dollars, with deliveries scheduled to start from <strong>2026<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the last few decades, the Gulf airlines have surprised visitors with the scale of their aircraft orders.
