In addition to a dedicated crew lounge, this new hotel, located just a ten-minute drive from the airport, offers another lounge dedicated to travellers, as well as 363 rooms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enhance their stay when they get off the plane or before departure, the hotel has a French-inspired bar and brasserie and a fitness area, all set in a design d\u00e9cor combining reminiscences of old Edo with the Tokyo of today and tomorrow, the world of manga and new technologies. Business travellers will be able to<strong> to hold their meetings in three rooms <\/strong>ranging from 17 m\u00b2 to 53 m\u00b2.<br><br>\"<em>An exciting addition to our portfolio, the Mercure Tokyo Haneda Airport will be the <strong>the brand's ninth hotel in Japan<\/strong><\/em>We're looking forward to the future,\" said Garth Simmons, CEO of Accor's Premium, Midscale and Economy division in Asia. And probably not much longer, since last July Accor announced a partnership with Japan Hotel Reit Advisors for the conversion of 23 hotels previously under the Daiwa Resort banner. After renovation, these hotels, most of which are located in tourist areas on the islands of Hokkaido and Okinawa, will carry the Grand Mercure and Mercure brands, with the handover scheduled for the second quarter of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/mercure-japon-expansion-chine-20230725.html\/\" data-id=\"152877\">Mercury thinks big in Japan and China<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>They will join a family of brands that is among the largest in the hotel industry, with almost 950 hotels in some sixty countries. Notably in Indonesia, with the recent opening of the country's ninth Grand Mercure in Bandar Lampung, <strong>in the tallest skyscraper on the island of Sumatra<\/strong>culminating at almost 200 metres. A hotel with 344 contemporary rooms and suites. Some of the suites offer guests a private outdoor swimming pool, a privilege also extended to occupants of the penthouse, a two-bedroom flat with a 360-degree view of the Indonesian metropolis. In addition to several sophisticated bars and restaurants, the Grand Mercure Lampung also boasts a vast space dedicated to meetings and events, with a Grand Ballroom that can accommodate 1,800 people, two other smaller event halls and 11 meeting rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the projects recently signed, the brand family will again<strong> expand into Thailand with the Grand Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 68<\/strong>In India, the Grand Mercure Amritsar Airport Road offers 100 rooms and 800 m\u00b2 of meeting space. As for China, Accor is continuing to work with H World Group, in which the group was once a shareholder, to extend the brand's footprint as part of a master franchise. As a result of this agreement, nearly 150 Mercure hotels and 20 Grand Mercure hotels are now in operation, while a further 50 Mercure hotels are under
