{"id":163155,"date":"2023-11-28T20:33:14","date_gmt":"2023-11-28T19:33:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=163155"},"modified":"2023-11-29T09:02:06","modified_gmt":"2023-11-29T08:02:06","slug":"line-14-dorly-pricing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/line-14-dorly-pricing","title":{"rendered":"Line 14: fares set at \u20ac11.50 to Orly airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"translation-block\">The idea had been put forward last spring by <strong>Val\u00e9rie P\u00e9cresse<\/strong>, president of the <strong>Ile-de-France<\/strong> region and of <strong>IDF Mobilit\u00e9<\/strong>: reaching the <strong>airport of Orly<\/strong> via the extension of <strong>line 14<\/strong>will indeed be subject to a <strong>derogatory fare<\/strong> from its planned entry into service in <strong>June 2024<\/strong>. It will cost <strong>\u20ac11.50 per journey<\/strong> in either direction. The lucky ones will be holders of a monthly or annual Navigo pass: for them this journey will be included at no extra cost. This will take <strong>16 minutes<\/strong> between the <strong>airport<\/strong> and <strong>Olympiade<\/strong> station, the current terminus, serving <strong>six stops<\/strong>(Maison Blanche, H\u00f4pital Bic\u00eatre, Villejuif, L'Hay-les-Roses, Chevilly-Larue and Thais-Orly) which will, however, remain accessible via a classic T+ ticket. IDFM is thus adopting the specific fare system in place to reach the <strong>Roissy-CDG<\/strong> airport hub by <strong>RER B<\/strong>(sold for \u20ac11.45 per journey). As a reminder, the <strong>CDG Express <\/strong>which will connect this airport non-stop to Gare de l'Est in 20 minutes by 2026-2027 has a projected fare of \u20ac24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ligne-19-la-defense-et-paris-cdg-20231123.html\/\" data-id=\"162875\">Towards a line 19 between La D\u00e9fense and Paris CDG?<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/ratp-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-163171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/ratp-2.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/ratp-2-300x200-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-les-tarifs-des-transports-en-ile-de-france-vont-augmenter-en-2024-et-flamber-pendant-les-jo\">Transport fares in the Ile-de-France region will rise in 2024 and soar during the Olympic Games<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>According to IDFM's pricing plan - to be validated on <strong>7 December <\/strong>next year - the cost of transport in Paris will rise for residents of the Ile-de-France region from <strong>1st January 2024<\/strong>. The price of the monthly Navigo pass will rise to \u20ac86.40 (from \u20ac84.10) and the annual version to \u20ac950.40 (from \u20ac925.10). What's more, it's not just passengers who will be paying more, as the <strong>companies in Paris and the inner suburbs<\/strong> (92, 93 and 94) with more than 11 employees will also be required to contribute, with the rate of mobility payment increasing by 0.25 points (to 3.20%) from 1 January next year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the big surprise is the almost prohibitive pricing announced for the Olympic Games period from 20 July to 8 September. The day and week passes will be suspended and replaced by a <strong>Paris Olympics 2024 pass sold for \u20ac70 a week<\/strong> (compared with \u20ac30 at present) and \u20ac16 for an unlimited day. Visit <strong>single ticket<\/strong> will cost \u20ac4 instead of \u20ac2.15, and the <strong>book of 10 tickets<\/strong> 32, compared with \u20ac17.30 for the rest of 2024 and \u20ac16.90 today. It remains to be hoped that the <strong>service <\/strong>in transport either <strong>on a par with the event <\/strong>to justify these increases!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As with the RER linking Paris to Roissy-CDG, a special fare will apply to travel to the airport via the extension of line 14, expected in June 2024.
