Rabat, the new hot spot for luxury hotels? Looking at the developments underway, we can only believe so. Adding to its hotels in Casablanca and Marrakech, the Canadian group is preparing for the opening of this establishment located just a few minutes from the medina and the main business centres. Formerly the summer residence of Sultan Moulay Slimane, then a hospital under the French protectorate, this neo-Moorish architectural complex has been closed since 1999. Surrounded by five hectares of gardens, the hotel is sure to appeal to business travellers with its 200 rooms and suites, most with a balcony or terrace overlooking the ocean or the surrounding greenery. The crowning glory of this offer, the Riad du Sultan<\/strong>a two-storey, 1000 m\u00b2 villa set in an 18th century building.e<\/sup> The house has been restored and features a private infinity pool.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For residents and locals alike, the hotel promises top-of-the-range relaxation - with a spa complex and two outdoor pools - as well as gastronomic delights with a host of bars and restaurants<\/strong>These include a French restaurant, Brasserie Marie, and Verdello, which focuses on Mediterranean cuisine, as well as a casual restaurant by the two swimming pools.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

But the Four Seasons will undoubtedly also be a Mecca for meetings and events in the Moroccan capital<\/strong> with 2700 m\u00b2 of meeting and event space. With a ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests and a smaller one, seven meeting rooms and a private terrace for outdoor events, the Four Seasons Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr is a master of entertaining.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Opened at the beginning of November, the Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar is no different, but in a more leisurely style. The luxury group's second establishment in Doha<\/strong>Situated on the seafront, not far from the luxury Place Vend\u00f4me shopping centre, the hotel offers 161 one, two and three-bedroom flats for extended stays with a relaxing or bleisure connotation, just a 20-minute drive from the West Bay business district.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
