{"id":164009,"date":"2023-12-12T13:15:13","date_gmt":"2023-12-12T12:15:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=164009"},"modified":"2023-12-12T18:11:16","modified_gmt":"2023-12-12T17:11:16","slug":"accor-openings-2024-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/accor-openings-2024-programme","title":{"rendered":"Accor: a collection of new addresses in 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Luxury with the unveiling of the first Orient Express in Rome - the Grand Hotel de la Minerve - at the end of 2024; lifestyle to start the year with the inauguration of the Hyde London City and the 25hours Hotel The Oddbird in Jakarta; and, in between, new premium and budget hotels: <strong>Accor rolls out its multi-brand strategy<\/strong> through a collection of new addresses expected next year (<em>see full list in box<\/em>). <br><br>In the run-up to the Olympic Games, the latest of its forty or so brands,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/accor-handwritten-collection-nouvelle-marque-20230119.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> the Handwritten Collection<\/a>will <strong>its entry into Paris<\/strong>near Montmartre, with a 51-room boutique hotel. In mid-2024, this new brand focused on small hotels with character will also welcome a new member in Lyon, the H\u00f4tel &amp; Spa Fort Saint-Laurent Lyon, in the heart of the Croix-Rousse district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group's historic brands will continue to support its expansion around the world. In this context, Novotel will unveil new hotels that embody the brand's contemporary evolution, notably in Tbilisi at the beginning of the year before <strong>a new flagship store in Spain<\/strong> planned for the end of 2024, in Valencia. A 370-room hotel with a trendy bar, rooftop and outdoor swimming pool, but aimed primarily at business tourism because of its location - close to the congress centre - and its vast meeting and coworking spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/novotel-nouvelle-generation-hotels-20231024.html\/\" data-id=\"160733\">Novotel: a new generation with a more urban design<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to a new establishment close to Hamburg's central station, this pillar brand of the French group will also be setting up in the up-and-coming district of the German metropolis, HafenCity, along with an Ibis Styles. At the same time, the brand, which is approaching the 1,000-hotel mark worldwide, will continue to expand its portfolio of hotels. <strong>its expansion in Eastern Europe<\/strong> with an opening in Romania, close to the Serbian border. A hotel that is both leisure, in the middle of the Portes de Fer nature park, and business, with a conference room and several meeting rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This region of Europe being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/europe-est-nouveaux-hotels-accor-20230814.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one of the favourite playgrounds of the French group<\/a>A number of new hotels are expected to open in 2024, including a wellness hotel in the Czech Republic - the Swiss\u00f4tel Marianske Lazne Resort &amp; Spa - and the arrival of the M\u00f6venpick brand in Poland, in Wroclaw. The Swiss brand will be taking over the renovated <strong>one of the historic hotels in the country's third-largest city<\/strong>The former H\u00f4tel du Nord, opened in 1903, is perfectly located for travellers, just opposite the main railway station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addis Ababa, Manila, Hai Phong: another of Accor's major business brands, <strong>Pullman is also preparing to see the world in 2024<\/strong>. Among its major openings, two are expected in China: the Pullman Guizhou Renhuai Chuangmeng and the Pullman Taizhou Xianju. The latter, thanks to its proximity to the new Xianju railway station, will be easily accessible to business travellers from Shanghai or Hangzhou, with the hotel offering them, in addition to its 300 rooms, a reception hall and seven rooms dedicated to events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/accor-basiques-luxe-lifestyle-20230629.html\/\" data-id=\"151431\">Accor: doing even better in its core business, going further in luxury and lifestyle<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Embodying a lifestyle hotel at moderate prices, the brand<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/tribe-expansion-europe-asie-20230731.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Tribe<\/a> will be offering two new hotels around Paris, in Clichy and Pantin, as well as an establishment in D\u00fcsseldorf, in the central district of Friedrichstadt, and further afield, in Auckland, New Zealand. Above all, the brand will be making its debut in Italy at the beginning of the year via its main air gateway, Milan Malpensa airport. With 240 rooms, the <strong>Tribe Milano Malpensa<\/strong> will benefit from direct access to the hub and will add to this convenient location for business travel two meeting rooms, a lively lobby, as well as a swimming pool on the terrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It's no longer a mystery, <strong>Accor has made lifestyle one of its key priorities<\/strong> <strong>its strategy<\/strong> development through its subsidiary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ennismore-cent-lifestyle-accor-20220927.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ennismore<\/a>. This expansion, which is still underway, extends from the revamped Jo&amp;Joe youth hostels - which, having very recently opened their first address in Rome, will be appearing in Budapest and several Chinese cities next year - to the very top end of the market. A good example of this is the future SLS Barcelona, which will open its doors in the trendy 22@ district in the middle of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originating in America, the brand made its European debut with <strong>a five-star hotel with over 470 rooms<\/strong>all with terraces. In this historic district,<strong> Hyde London City to return to hotel use <\/strong>the former Spiers &amp; Pond Hotel, built in 1874 and converted into offices at the beginning of the 20th century.<sup>e<\/sup> This return to our roots has given rise to an arty hotel with 111 rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among <strong>brands more firmly established in this lifestyle trend<\/strong>Next year, 25hours will be setting up in the heart of Jakarta and Mama Shelter will be extending its adventure begun fifteen years ago in Nice, as well as in Dubai with an urban resort of 197 rooms and 204 flats. The Mama Shelter Dubai Business Bay will also offer a wide choice of restaurants, a terrace with four swimming pools and an open-air amphitheatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/mama-shelter-succes-prolonge-20230807.html\/\" data-id=\"153739\">Mama Shelter: Fifteen years on<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, top-of-the-range brand The Hoxton will continue its tour of major European cities with a hotel in Edinburgh, the result of the transformation of 10 Georgian-era houses into<strong> a 211-room complex with restaurant and event facilities<\/strong>and another in Vienna. Revamping the former headquarters of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, the hotel will bring its trendy spirit to this 1950s modernist building, housing 196 rooms, a restaurant with terrace, a rooftop swimming pool, and on the meeting side, in addition to The Apartment event concept, a real auditorium. A new feature for The Hoxton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, a year cannot be rich for a hotel group without new flagship openings,<strong> those that make the front pages of magazines<\/strong>. While 2023 was marked by the inauguration of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/raffles-londres-luxe-histoire-20211202.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Raffles at the OWO <\/a>in London, Accor will unveil another prestigious address in 2024, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/rome-luxe-lifestyle-20210225.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rome<\/a>The Orient Express Grand Hotel de la Minerve. The first of this legendary brand to be relaunched by Accor with luxury trains, an ultra VIP sailing yacht and, of course, hotels. For this <strong>back to basics<\/strong>The brand will be moving away from the hustle and bustle of the City-State to settle on the island of Sentosa, with 62 beachfront villas surrounded by tropical gardens and bordered by a beach more than three kilometres long. Expected to open in the middle of the year, this resort, so close and so far from the city, is also ideal for chic events, with ultra-modern meeting rooms, a multi-purpose function room and a grand ballroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other events in Accor's luxury segment include a quasi-new opening, the Fairmont Golden Prague, located on the prestigious Parizska boulevard and completely transformed after a long renovation phase, and the relaunch of one of California's most famous luxury hotels, the Fairmont The Breakers, Long Beach, following its refurbishment. Another long-awaited opening, due to take place in the middle of next year, is the Sofitel Shanghai North Bund, a 300-room and suite hotel that aims to establish itself as a new landmark on Shanghai's most famous thoroughfare.
