After running from 9 to 12 January, the latest edition of CES, the Consumer Electronics Show, has just closed its doors in Las Vegas. The world's biggest technology show brought together more than 3,000 exhibitors to unveil their latest innovations in connectivity. The highlight was theartificial intelligence<\/strong> (AI) was once again the main focus of the new products, both in terms of productivity and health tools, and also in terms of entertainment, ranging from audio-video to gaming and mobility. The new devices on show are all equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra chips, the most suitable for managing AI-related tasks. Aimed primarily at the mass market, these innovations are also shaping new lifestyles with performance and the integration of virtual reality. Here is a selection of five devices for mobile professionals.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Sony mixed reality headset<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Japanese manufacturer has taken the wind out of Apple's sails. The latter was planning to present its headset in February. Apple Vision Pro<\/a>. Sony has beaten the Cupertino-based firm to the punch by giving a first glimpse of its new headset, which is based on the \"\u00a0the creation of spatial content<\/em>\u00a0\"to use Sony's expression. Designed for 3D creation<\/strong>This equipment enables 3D objects to be displayed and manipulated in the real world. The rendering of these virtual objects has been worked out in detail so that they can be manipulated using two control sticks that allow them to be selected as well as grasped with the finger. The result is optimised interaction. This mixed reality between the real and the virtual is based on Qualcomm's latest-generation chip, 4K micro Oled screens and a host of cameras and sensors. This mixed reality is reminiscent of the first virtual helmets developed by the French Atomic Energy Commission three decades ago to train nuclear maintenance technicians to work in confined areas. From production engineering to creative modelling, the interest in virtual reality interaction continues to diversify. For the time being, with no name or price yet set, this mixed reality headset should be available later this year.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

With a 14-inch diagonal, this Two-in-one portable PC<\/a> is equipped with a special zone, the Yoga Zone Creator, for the secure use of generative AI. In short, this PC ensures easy image creation<\/strong> from sketches or a few words in natural language. It comes with a Lenovo Smart Pen stylus. Running on Intel Core Ultra, the processor is combined with Lenovo's in-house Al Core Chip. The aim? To support AI by taking advantage of a solution based on automatic learning to optimise 3D rendering and automatically correct the colourimetry of videos. Added to this is a touch dedicated to Microsoft's AI-based voice assistant. This new generation of Yoga is definitely very 'AI'.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The American firm is launching a new range of Spectre X360 two-in-one notebooks, featuring both AI and the latest generation of Intel Ultra 5 processors. With a 360\u00b0 opening angle, the Spectre X360 - 14 inches as its name suggests - converts into a tablet in no time at all, switching from computer desktop mode to tablet desktop mode, with optional stylus. With 16\/32 GB of memory. Above all, users can rely on Superpower, an artificial intelligence assistant that feeds on personalised data. By learning from its user, it is adapted to professional needs by generating contextualised texts, based on the minutes of a professional meeting, for example, and providing more precise answers to searches. And users can rest assured that this information will never be transmitted to the cloud, to ensure data security and respect for privacy. It will go on sale shortly at a price of $1,499, with the price in euros still to be determined.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Le specialist in outdoor connected watches <\/a>won a host of awards at the CES Innovation Awards. One of the new products that stood out was the Marq Golfer Carbon Edition connected watch, which won in the 'Wearable Technologies' category. Made from 130 layers of carbon, this connected watch is extremely lightweight and features top-of-the-range materials, an Amoled touchscreen and a leather strap. Designed for golfers<\/strong>The watch features some 43,000 programmed courses around the world, as well as distance measurements and data on the contours of the greens. For the time being, no price or launch date is known.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

BeamO from Withings<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Le French specialist in connected healthcare<\/a> has a habit of putting on a show at CES, with innovations at every edition of the show that are always eagerly awaited. This was also the case on 8 January with the presentation of BeamO. This object is in fact a 4-in-1 health device<\/strong>. Whether at home or on the move, you can use it to carry out a check-up if you feel unwell or simply tired. It acts as a thermometer, an electrocardiogram, an oximeter and even a stethoscope, monitoring both the heart and the lungs. Packed with sensors, it also synchronises health data so you can sound the alarm and share information with your GP. The BeamO will go on sale in June 2024 for 250 euros.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
