The SNCF has redesigned assistance at stations and support for disabled passengers until they reach their seat on the train around the Assist'engare one-stop shop. A simplification driven by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/loi-mobilites-quotidien-20190620.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">law on the orientation of mobility<\/a> (LOM). Previously, for journeys with stages, for example a TER to catch a TGV and why not a Transilien at the end of the journey, they had to contact<strong> several different services<\/strong> to get help with their journeys, Acc\u00e8s Plus, Acc\u00e8s TER or Acc\u00e8s Plus Transilien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 10 January onwards, passengers with reduced mobility or requiring assistance will have only one choice of ticket. <strong>single point of contact<\/strong> to find out about, book, change or cancel their station assistance service. As the SNCF points out<em> for all stages of their journey, whether regional, national, with connections, or international. And whatever carrier they travel with. <\/em>\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, SNCF Gares &amp; Connexions will continue to set up this one-stop shop over the course of the year in order to<strong>integrate all the companies<\/strong>. Renfe, Trenitalia, Eurostar, TER Nouvelle Aquitaine and Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes will do so before the end of March. Some things, however, remain unchanged, such as the need to book assistance at least 24 hours in advance and, of course, the fact that the service is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In practice, Assist engare takes the form of a<strong> online form<\/strong> available 24\/24 on the SNCF Gares &amp; Connexions website or a telephone service every day from 8am to 8pm on 3212 (+33(0)9 72 00 92). Deaf or hard-of-hearing passengers can use the Rogervoice relay centre, with telephone advisers available Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 9pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, SNCF Gares &amp; Connexions stresses that it is devoting an annual budget of 350 million euros to <strong>improving station accessibility<\/strong> through the installation of footbridges or lifts, the adaptation of signage for the visually impaired and audible beacons for the hearing impaired. 54 stations benefited from work last year, bringing the current total to 478 accessible stations, 149 of which are in the Ile-de-France region.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SNCF Gares &amp;
