{"id":166467,"date":"2024-01-22T09:40:15","date_gmt":"2024-01-22T08:40:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=166467"},"modified":"2024-01-22T17:03:51","modified_gmt":"2024-01-22T16:03:51","slug":"flights-paris-tel-aviv-return-companies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/flights-paris-tel-aviv-return-companies","title":{"rendered":"Tel Aviv: the return of the airlines takes shape"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the aftermath of the attacks on 7 October, airlines were forced to suspend their operations. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/israel-compagnies-aeriennes-20231009.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cease operations between<strong>Western Europe <\/strong>and <strong>Israel<\/strong><\/a>. With the exception of the national carrier <strong>El Al<\/strong>which had maintained its operations at <strong>Paris<\/strong>which is set to increase from 12 to 17 weekly flights in February. In France and Europe, several leading carriers are now gradually making a comeback. Like<strong>Air France <\/strong>which, from <strong>24 January<\/strong>makes its return to <strong>Tel Aviv<\/strong>. The French carrier will therefore be operating from Wednesday <strong>three flights a week<\/strong> departing from <strong>Paris-CDG<\/strong>. Links to the<strong>Ben Gurion airport <\/strong>are scheduled for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air France will soon be joined by its low-cost subsidiary. That's right, <strong>Transavia <\/strong>recently confirmed his return to <strong>Tel Aviv<\/strong>. The company is planning a gradual comeback by <strong>four phases<\/strong>. Two flights a week will be operated from <strong>February 1st<\/strong>every Thursday and Sunday. A third weekly service will be added from 19 February, on Tuesdays, followed by a fourth (Friday) on 4 March. Last but not least, <strong>Transavia to offer daily flights from Paris-Orly to Tel Aviv from 18 March<\/strong>. The airline's return to Tel Aviv does not, for the moment, affect flights from <strong>Lyon<\/strong>and remains subject to \"<em>provided that the situation in the Middle East does not deteriorate<\/em>\"says the company. \"<em>This decision was taken in conjunction with the French authorities and the Transavia France and Air France security teams.<\/em>\"it says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/transport-aerien-tel-aviv-20231218.html\/\" data-id=\"164311\">Air transport: return to Tel Aviv<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/transavia-avion.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-166577\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/transavia-avion.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/transavia-avion-300x200-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The return of<strong>easyJet<\/strong> on this Paris-Tel Aviv route remains to be clarified. The airline has not announced any resumption of flights to Tel Aviv to date, and says it is continuing to monitor the situation closely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/lufthansa-etats-unis-2024-20230914.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lufthansa<\/a><\/strong>At the beginning of the year, he took the plunge towards <strong>Tel Aviv<\/strong>. However, the German group only operates on <strong>30% of activity<\/strong> before operations were halted on 9 October. Since <strong>8 January<\/strong>Lufthansa operates four flights a week from <strong>Frankfurt<\/strong>and three weekly flights from <strong>Munich<\/strong>. This is in addition to the eight weekly routes offered by <strong>Austrian Airlines<\/strong>and the five flights of <strong>Swiss <\/strong>since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/aeroport-zurich-expansion-20220826.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zurich<\/a>.
