\"\u00a0The future of tourism and business travel will be shaped by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR<\/strong>) and our ability to be transparent with our customers, who have increasingly high expectations in terms of services and technology.<\/em>\" said last week Patricia Morosini<\/strong>the Director of Business Travel at Selectour<\/strong>at an internal convention. He added: \"\u00a0This is a consequence of the Climate and Resilience Act, which requires 100% of public tenders to have at least one ecological clause <\/strong>at 2026 <\/strong>but also the standards of the European directive CSRD <\/strong>(Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). These new laws are leading to changes in our customers' travel policies, in terms of safety, passenger well-being, respect for the environment, etc.<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 2024, the network of travel agencies<\/strong> decided to put the CSR <\/strong>at the heart of its relationships with its supplier partners: airlines, hoteliers, car rental companies, technology players, etc.\".\u00a0CSR is fundamental because companies are asking us more and more questions on this subject when it comes to travel policy.<\/em>s\", explains Guillaume de Goutte, head of purchasing at Selectour<\/strong>. And the latest calls for tenders involving TMC <\/strong>confirm this. The head office of the voluntary network has therefore embarked on a responsible purchasing approach that incorporates this CSR dimension into its relations with its partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First stage: a panel of one sixty or so suppliers<\/strong> covering 80% of its corporate sales<\/strong> questionnaire based on the following criteria five themes <\/strong>These include their activity, governance, environmental impact and social and societal impact. They have until the end of March <\/strong>to submit their proposals, with some variations depending on the sector in which they operate. In particular, the following airlines were approached Air France-KLM<\/a>, IAG <\/a>and Lufthansa<\/a>the SNCF<\/a>, Opinion<\/a>, Hertz<\/a>hotel chains and centres, Amadeus<\/a>back office players... <\/p>\n\n\n\n
