All in all, Etihad Airways will offer <\/strong>27% of additional weekly departures<\/strong> for the 2024 summer season. The national airline of the United Arab Emirates is thus significantly increasing its offer, with flights returning to their pre-Covid levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The national carrier's latest announcement mainly concerns key destinations in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Middle East and Asia at the heart of expansion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The company is increasing the number of flights to Jeddah and Riyadh<\/strong> to Saudi Arabia from 15 March. The two Saudi cities will benefit from an additional daily flight, for a total of 28 weekly frequencies to Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To 15 June, Amman<\/strong> in Jordan will benefit from 4 additional weekly flights (i.e. 11 flights\/week) and 2 flights to <\/strong>Beirut<\/strong> <\/a>(7 flights\/week). On the same date, the airline will add 4 flights a week on Colombo<\/strong> Sri Lanka (17 flights\/week), 1 weekly flight on Calcutta<\/strong> (8 frequencies\/week) and 3 weekly flights on Bangalore<\/strong> (17 frequencies\/week).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These improvements are part of Etihad's ambitious expansion of flights and frequencies, which aims to strengthening the Abu Dhabi hub<\/strong> by offering its customers more flexible travel options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of last year, the airline announced the opening of new destinations and additional frequencies. In particular, since 1 January, the inauguration of Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram in India<\/strong>. As well as 3 additional weekly frequencies to Bangkok<\/strong> on 22 February (17 flights\/week).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a reminder, the company will also be inaugurating two flights a week from Nice<\/strong><\/a>from 15 June. This latest service strengthens the partnership with Air France<\/strong>. It will also be the first time that the C\u00f4te d'Azur metropolis will benefit from a link with Abu Dhabi.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etihad, Air France's partner in the Gulf, is strengthening its offer for this summer season with additional frequencies to around ten destinations in the Gulf region and
