{"id":168089,"date":"2024-02-12T15:50:55","date_gmt":"2024-02-12T14:50:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=168089"},"modified":"2024-02-12T16:13:34","modified_gmt":"2024-02-12T15:13:34","slug":"malawi-visa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/malawi-visa","title":{"rendered":"Malawi now visa-free"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another African country has decided to cross the Rubicon in terms of lifting travel restrictions. <strong>Malawi, <\/strong>State of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/afrique-voyages-affaires-remontent-pente-20210421.html\/\">Southern Africa<\/a> landlocked between Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia,<strong> has decided to unilaterally lift the visa requirement<\/strong> to the citizens of <strong>47 countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minister for Internal Security, Ken Zikha\u0142e, announced this change to immigration regulations. Among other things, it allows visitors from <strong>United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Canada, Belgium or France to go to the country<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/henley-passport-index-france-20240125.html\/\" data-id=\"166969\">France tops the league for all-purpose passports<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>The Malawian government has identified these countries as crucial markets for international tourism and business travellers. The arrival of visitors would help to alleviate the shortage of foreign currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, <strong>citizens of Luxembourg and Switzerland are still required to obtain a visa<\/strong>.
