Boosted by the economic potential of its catchment area (Alsace, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg and the Basel region), <strong>l'<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bale-mulhouse-trafic-20240130.html\/\">Euroairport Basel-Mulhouse<\/a> has not offered any intercontinental services for over two decades.<\/strong>. The airport handles over 8 million passengers a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is good news for business people in the Grand Est region. From<strong> 2 August 2024<\/strong>, <strong>flydubai to launch scheduled flights from Euroairport to its hub in Dubai<\/strong>. Initially, the service will run four times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, midday). Bookings can now be made on the carrier's website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aircraft brought into service is a single-aisle model. It is the <strong>Boeing 737 Max 8<\/strong> equipped with <strong>156 seats in economy class and 10 seats in business class<\/strong>. The latter features wider seats that allow passengers to lie completely flat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The line <strong>Euroairport-Dubai to benefit from code-share agreement with Emirates<\/strong>. The latter is in fact a shareholder in the low-cost carrier. This code-share opens up all the destinations of both carriers from the Dubai hub. It allows <strong>access to the rest of the Middle East, the whole of Africa and, above all, the whole of Asia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-de-nouveaux-espaces-de-restauration-sur-l-aeroport\">New catering facilities at the airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Good news never comes alone, <strong>Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail<\/strong>a subsidiary of the group of the same name, has won <strong>the concession of five new restaurants and shops<\/strong> on the airport for a period of 6 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>These shops and restaurants are due to open at the end of the first quarter.<\/strong>. This includes a Poulaillon bakery, a \"Minute\" fast-food outlet, an enlarged \"Monop'daily\" mini-market with a range of new products, a pop-up store for chocolate-maker Pierre Herm\u00e9 and an Italian caf\u00e9, Bottega Prosecco Bar &amp; Caff\u00e8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image wp-image-407248 size-full\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/moodiedavittreport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Monop-Daily-2-Lagardere.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-407248\"\/><figcaption><em>The future Monop'daily (Image: Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Basel-Mulhouse will once again benefit from an intercontinental route.
