Sixty years later, the site is developing an events business following the arrival of the<strong>seminar room inaugurated in early January<\/strong> 130 m\u00b2, and has published a first BtoB brochure presenting this new Seminars &amp; Privatisations offering.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/sc-20220802-0233.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-168597\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/sc-20220802-0233.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/sc-20220802-0233-300x200-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p>Without any particular publicity, we already had a few occasional requests for sales meetings, team building or receptions.<\/p><cite>Mathilde Philippot, MICE Manager, Mer de Sable<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Located at the entrance to the park, this fully-equipped space can accommodate up to 80 people for business meetings and 100 for cocktails, with a private outdoor area at the rear for breaks if required. It complements the<strong>Hacienda<\/strong>This is one of the park's restaurants, used for meals and as a back-up for receptions on rainy days (for up to 250 people). \"\u00a0<em>Without any particular publicity, we already had a few occasional requests for sales meetings, team building or receptions, such as the Medef Oise garden party, which brought together 350 participants in June 2023.<\/em> \"says Mathilde Philippot, MICE Manager at La Mer de Sable.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/sc-20220802-0114.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-168599\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/sc-20220802-0114.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/sc-20220802-0114-300x200-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>From now on, La Mer de Sable intends to increase the number of times it rents out these two venues until it reaches the end of its term. <strong>full privatisation on weekdays<\/strong>when children are at school and during periods when the leisure park is closed, for a capacity of <strong>10 to 5,000 guests<\/strong>. \"\u00a0<em>We receive bookings from companies within a 1h30 radius of the park. Privatisations are available for groups of 200 people or more, with a number of attractions, a show with a troupe of Indians and cowboys, and a range of catering and activities with team-building providers. With its <strong>45 hectares, including 20 hectares of dunes<\/strong>The park is in fact a <strong>vast playground<\/strong><\/em>adds Mathilde Philippot. And she adds: <em>With its natural backdrop and western theme, the Mer de Sable is guaranteed to make your stay a memorable one. <strong>off-beat professional day<\/strong> compared to an operation in a convention centre or a standard hotel<\/em> \". The aim is one event a week for this first year. This should add to the park's total attendance of <strong>400,000 visitors by 2023<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mer de Sable is part of the <strong>Looping group<\/strong> (taken over in the summer of 2023 by the French fund PAI Partners), which operates <strong>18 leisure parks and aquariums in Europe<\/strong>. Several sites in France were already offering MICE activities: Plan\u00e8te Sauvage near Nantes, the Grand Aquarium in Saint-Malo, the Bagatelle leisure park near Berck...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-highlight-box\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-y-aller\">Getting there<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accessibility by road<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>45 minutes from Paris, 20 minutes from Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, 35 minutes from Meaux, 40 minutes from Soissons and 2 hours from
