What are its assets?<\/h2>\n<p>Karin Mallet Gautier - Firstly, because of the diversity of the islands, which are all really different. Not just because of their geography, but also because of their culture, fauna and flora. We choose one island over another depending on the type of visitor, whether they're taking part in an incentive, a conference or a seminar. Then there's the undeniable quality of the infrastructure - hotels, meeting and conference rooms. Last but not least, there's the quality of the local welcome, which is exceptional and natural. I would add that you can visit the Bahamas all year round, as there is no rainy season. What's more, these islands are hardly affected by hurricanes.<\/p>\n<h2>What are your strengths?<\/h2>\n<p>K. M. G. - Obviously everything related to the seaside: deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, underwater scooters, off-shore boat excursions... There's also everything to do with ecotourism, herbal medicine and exploring the national parks, the Bahamas having created its first park in 1958. Encounters with the locals are also very popular, with cookery competitions, batik printing and music initiations. Then there are the themed evenings inspired by the country's history, with real parties held around piracy or carnival.<\/p>\n<h2>What type of groups do you cater for?<\/h2>\n<p>K. M. G. - All types of groups. Seminars, conferences, incentives or board meetings, with between 40 and 200 participants over a five-night period.<\/p>\n<h2>What does the market say?<\/h2>\n<p>K. M. G. - It suffered a lot with the crisis, but it's picking up again. Particularly with the USA-Bahamas combinations, from Miami, New York or Boston, or even Canada-Bahamas.
